A hydraulic circuit control device that selectively supplies oil to a first oil passage and a second oil passage by an oil pump, the control device includes: an oil passage switching unit adapted to connect the oil pump to either the first oil passage or the second oil passage; a control mode switching unit adapted to switch the control mode of the electric motor to either a torque control mode or a speed control mode; an oil passage selecting unit adapted to select whether to connect the oil pump to the first oil passage or the second oil passage; and a control unit adapted to perform control so that the control mode switching unit switches the control mode to the torque control mode when the first oil passage has been selected, and perform control so that the control mode switching unit switches the control mode to the speed control mode when the second oil passage has been selected.

Hydraulic circuit control device

A power transmitting device for a vehicle for transmitting a driving force from a driving source to right and left axles. The power transmitting device includes a housing, a planetary gear type speed reducing mechanism connected to the driving source, a differential gear unit arranged in coaxial relationship with the planetary gear type speed reducing mechanism and connected to the right and left axles, and an oil reservoir provided in a lower region of the housing. The differential gear unit has a differential case formed integrally with a planetary carrier of the speed reducing mechanism. The planetary carrier includes first and second annular members axially spaced apart from each other and a plurality of connecting portions for connecting the first and second annular members, each of the connecting portions having a substantially V-shaped configuration opening outward in the radial direction of the first and second annular members.

Power transmitting device for vehicle

A hybrid vehicle is provided that can be made to travel by means of motor generators (MG, MG) while an engine (E) is stopped, the engine (E), which can reduce pumping loss by running with a cylinder in a cut-off state, being connected to a front wheel (Wf) via the first motor/generator (MG), an oil pump (), a first clutch (), a belt type continuously variable transmission (M), and a second clutch (), and the second motor/generator (MG) being connected to a rear wheel (Wr). When the vehicle is made to travel by driving or braking the rear wheel (Wr) with the second motor/generator (MG), by driving the oil pump () with the first motor/generator (MG) in a state in which the engine (E), which has stopped running, is put into a cylinder cut-off state and the second clutch () is disengaged, a hydraulic pressure for shifting the belt type continuously variable transmission (M) is generated. It is thereby possible to generate a hydraulic pressure for shifting the belt type continuously variable transmission (M) while the engine (E) is stopped, without requiring a special electric oil pump.

Hybrid vehicle

In a hybrid vehicle in which front wheels are driven by an engine and a front motor, and rear wheels are driven by a main rear motor and a sub rear motor, both main rear motor and the sub rear motor are driven when a large driving force is required as when the vehicle is driven at low speed to haul a trailer or the like or to run on a sandy ground, whereas when the required driving force is small, only the main rear motor is driven.

A power transmission system for a hybrid vehicle includes a motor/generator and a torque converter. The motor/generator and the torque converter are disposed in series between a crankshaft of an engine and a main shaft of a transmission. A side plate of the torque converter and a rotor disc of the motor/generator are connected via a drive plate having heat shielding properties and heat releasing properties.

Power transmission system for hybrid vehicle

A rear wheel driving unit of a hybrid vehicle includes an oil catch tank that stores oil splashed from an oil sump formed on a bottom of a casing body by a driven gear of a differential. A slinger chamber to which the oil is supplied from the oil catch tank has a slinger disposed therein that is driven by the motor through gears. To cool the motor, the oil is supplied from the oil catch tank to an oil passage in a main shaft leading to the inside of a motor shaft by gravitational force. The oil splashed from the slinger chamber by the slinger is supplied to the oil passage to effectively cool the motor using the lubricating oil from the differential.

Motor-cooling structure of front-and-rear-wheel-drive vehicle

A rotational shaft receives drive power from an engine and a first motor, and drives front wheels through front clutches. A second motor drives rear wheels. The first motor and the second motor are supplied with electric power from a battery. A main ECU controls an electric vehicle mode in which the first clutches are disengaged, the supply of fuel to the engine is stopped, and the second motor drives the rear wheels to propel a hybrid vehicle, by dividing the electric vehicle mode into a first propulsion mode and a second propulsion mode. In the first propulsion mode, the first motor is de-energized. In the second propulsion mode, a load imposed on the second motor is greater than that of the first propulsion mode, and the first motor is supplied with electric power to rotate the rotational shaft at a predetermined speed.

Drive control apparatus for hybrid vehicle

A hydraulic controller for a hydraulic actuator () incorporated in a power transmission mechanism, wherein an accumulator () is connected to an oil supply passage () for the hydraulic actuator () for supplying oil from a pump () via a regulator () and a one-way valve () and a lubricating oil passage () for the power transmission mechanism is connected to the regulatorin the drain side thereof, by which energy consumption can be reduced maximally even if the pump () is regularly driven for lubrication. It is provided with a hydraulic pressure switching means () capable of freely switching a setting pressure of the regulator () between a high pressure and a low pressure. While the hydraulic pressure of the oil supply passage () is higher than or equal to a pressure at which the hydraulic actuator () can be operated, the controller maintains the setting pressure of the regulator () at the low pressure to reduce a work load of the pump
