A second housingis capable of moving in a direction in which the second housing covers one surface of a first housing. Oscillating elements of an oscillating element groupare arranged in a matrix and oscillate sound waves outward from the one surface of the first housing. A control unit controls the plurality of oscillating elements. A sound wave sensor constitutes the same matrix as the plurality of oscillating elements and detects sound waves having a specific wavelength. The detection results of the sound wave sensor are output to the control unit. A frame body holds the plurality of oscillating elements and the sound wave sensor. The control unit oscillates sensor sound waves having a specific wavelength outward from at least one of the oscillating elements. The control unit determines that the second housingcovers the one surface of the first housingwhen the sound wave sensor detects the sound waves having the specific wavelength.

An electronic apparatus () includes a first detachable speaker unit () including a first speaker having a relatively high directivity, and a second detachable speaker unit () including a second speaker having a relatively low directivity. The electronic apparatus () further includes a body unit (an electronic apparatus body ()) provided with a slot () in which any one of the first detachable speaker unit () and the second detachable speaker unit () is detachably installed therein in an alternative way, and a control unit that is provided in the body unit and controls the first and second speakers.

In an electro-acoustic transducerwhich is an oscillator device, center positions of principal surfaces of piezoelectric elementsthat are positioned on both surfaces of an elastic memberare different from each other. As such, since the two piezoelectric elementsare disposed asymmetrically on the upper and lower sides in the electro-acoustic transducer, it is possible to prevent vibrations of reversed phases at the time of divided vibration in which the reversed phases overlap with each other. In other words, since it is possible to prevent the generation of sound waves due to the vibration of local reversed phases, the sound pressure level can be improved.

Oscillator

There are provided a vibration film () having a piezoelectric element, a magnetic circuit () which generates magnetic force on the basis of a first electric signal and vibrates the vibration film () by the magnetic force; and an adjustment unit () which generates a second electric signal on the basis of the first electric signal and applies a voltage based on the second electric signal between both surfaces of the piezoelectric element. The amplitude of the entire vibration film () is expanded by making the vibration by the magnetic force, which is generated from the magnetic circuit (), and the vibration, which is generated by application of a voltage to the piezoelectric element, synchronize with each other.

A second piezoelectric vibrator () is located in a hollow portion () of the first piezoelectric vibrator () when seen in a plan view. A support () is a frame-shaped member, and the inside surface thereof supports the edge of a vibration member (). The fundamental resonance frequency of the first piezoelectric vibrator () is lower than the fundamental resonance frequency of the second piezoelectric vibrator (). In addition, the second piezoelectric vibrator () overlaps a loop of vibration generated in the vibration member () when the first piezoelectric vibrator () is driven at the fundamental resonance frequency. Preferably, the center of the second piezoelectric vibrator () overlaps the center of a loop of vibration generated in the vibration member () by the first piezoelectric vibrator ().

An elastic vibration plate () is divided into a plurality of elastic vibrating regions () through slits () having a predetermined shape, a plurality of piezoelectric vibrators () which are individually mounted on at least some of the plurality of elastic vibrating regions () on the elastic vibration plate () undergo elastic vibration due to application of an electric field. Therefore, it is possible to vibrate the plurality of elastic vibrating regions () on a single elastic vibration plate () using the plurality of piezoelectric vibrators (). Therefore, it is possible to adjust the peak value and the like of the oscillation frequency at will in each of the plurality of elastic vibrating regions.

A battery charger can avoid possibility of output shorting while the secondary battery is not connected and prevent use of a secondary battery other than dedicated one. The battery charger includes battery charging control means for supplying a charge current to a predetermined secondary battery via an output terminal, and output cut-off means for cutting off connection between the output terminal and the battery charging control means when the predetermined secondary battery is not loaded and for establishing connection between the output terminal and the battery charging control means when the predetermined secondary battery is loaded.
