Method for producing a magnetooptical recording medium

A magnetooptical recording medium is provided with a transparent substrate, a first magnetic layer, a second magnetic layer having a higher Curie point and a lower coercive force than those of the first magnetic layer and being exchange coupled with the first magnetic layer. The medium further includes a third magnetic layer located between the first and second magnetic layers, so that the first magnetic layer is closer to the transparent substrate than the second and third magnetic layers and the third magnetic layer is closer to the transparent substrate than the second magnetic layer. Also disclosed is a process for recording on such a medium.

An optical information recording/reproducing apparatus for stably recording, reproducing, or erasing the information by a laser beam with respect to different kinds of optical disks is represented. This specification discloses a cleaning device for removing residual developer or the like on an image bearing member. More particularly, it discloses a cleaning device in which a cleaning blade is sandwiched between sandwiching members and the cleaning blade and the sandwiching members are coupled together by a tightening force.
