An antenna device that radiates or receives a radio wave includes: a first wire line; a second wire line that is parallel to the first wire line; a power feeding/receiving point that is provided at proximal portions of the first wire line and second wire line; and a terminal resistance that is provided at distal end portions of the first wire line and second wire line.

Antenna device

An antenna device includes: a plurality of loop metal wires that form loops out of metal wires and that are radially arranged around a center line; a power feeding portion that feeds power to the loop metal wires or a power receiving portion that receives power from the loop metal wires and that is provided on the center line; and a variable impedance element that is inserted in each of the loop metal wires.

A dipole antenna includes a plurality of parallel metal wires as its basic structure, and a plurality of identical or similar unit circuits arranged in a row in an extending direction of the plurality of metal wires and connected with each other. The unit circuits each have a tie portion that connects the metal wires with each other via at least one first inductor, and at least one first capacitor provided on at least one of the metal wires. The plurality of metal wires each have a base portion and an extended portion, and the plurality of metal wires are each bent such that the extended portion extends at an angle of 90 degrees with respect to the base portion.

Multiple-resonance antenna

A wheel condition monitoring system includes a plurality of transmitters; a receiver; an antenna directivity control unit; a memory unit; and a wheel position determination unit. The transmitters are at each wheel of the vehicle, and transmit signals that include wheel condition data and identification data of themselves. The receiver receives the transmission signals so that the wheel condition monitoring system monitors the conditions of the respective wheels based thereon. The antenna directivity control unit controls the antenna directivity of the receiver. The memory unit stores the identification data by assigning relations between the identification data and the position of the corresponding wheel. The wheel position determination unit determines the position of the wheel at which the transmitter is installed based on the relations.

Wheel condition monitoring system and wheel position detection method

A door mirror device includes an antenna and a metal frame for attaching parts. The antenna is capable of at least one of receiving radio transmissions from the outside of a vehicle cabin or transmitting radio transmissions to the outside of the vehicle cabin. The antenna includes a plate and a case that are electrically continuous with a matching-use base plate. The plate and the case of the antenna are fixed to the frame by a tapping screw. The antenna is grounded to the frame as a result of the plate becoming electrically continuous with the frame via the tapping screw.

Vehicular door mirror device

In an identification information examination mode, reception sensitivity of a reception device in an information obtaining mode is reduced. In the reception device, information transmitted from a transmission device mounted in a vehicle adjacent to the host vehicle is not received, and identification information transmitted from a transmission device mounted in the host vehicle is received. Then, an examination is performed by comparing the received identification information with the identification information stored in memory in advance.

Identification information examination method and information obtaining apparatus

An apparatus operable with a system which includes a body-side device and wheel-side devices and in which vehicle-state data such as wheel-state data representative of wheel states are transmitted by radio communication from the wheel-side devices to the body-side device, together with wheel identification data identifying the wheels. The apparatus includes antennas attached to each wheel inspecting device which is arranged to rotate the corresponding so that the antennas are sequentially aligned with the wheel-side device, and transmit trigger signals in response to which the wheel identification data are transmitted from the wheel-side device to the body-side device and registered in the body-side device. The apparatus assists the system so as to automate the registration of the wheel identification data, thereby eliminating a manual operation to bring a trigger device to the positions of the wheels to command the wheel-side devices to transmit the wheel identification data.

Apparatus for assisting registration of vehicle wheel identification data, and apparatus for assisting registration of data-processing information

A vehicle wheel information obtaining apparatus for obtaining wheel information relating to a wheel of a vehicle. The apparatus includes: (a) a wheel state detector which detects a state of the wheel; (b) a transmitter which is provided on the wheel and which transmits a wheel data set containing a wheel state data representing the detected state of the wheel and a wheel identification data identifying the wheel; (c) a receiver which is provided on a vehicle body and which receives the wheel data set transmitted by the transmitter; (d) a data processor which processes the wheel data set received by the receiver; and (e) a communication-intensity reducing device which reduces a transmission strength of the transmitter or/and a reception sensitivity of the receiver, such that the transmission strength or/and the reception sensitivity is lower when the data processor is in an identification-data registering mode, than when the data processor is in a wheel-state data obtaining mode.
