A print image generation unit is configured to perform a first rasterization process for printing and thereby generate print image data, and perform a second rasterization process for inspection and thereby generate reference image data, on the basis of a print request. A print unit is configured to perform printing based on the print image data onto a print paper sheet and thereby produce a print product. An image scanning unit is configured to perform image scanning of the print product and thereby generate scan image data. An inspection processing unit is configured to compare the scan image data and the reference image data and thereby perform inspection of the printed matter. Further, the second rasterization process is a rasterization process performed in a rendering condition different from a rendering condition of the first rasterization process.

Image forming apparatus

A print image generation unit performs a first rasterization process for printing and thereby generates print image data. A print unit performs printing based on the print image data and thereby produces a print product. An image scanning unit performs image scanning of the print product and thereby generates scan image data. Further, the print image generation unit performs a second rasterization process for inspection and generates reference image data of plural reference images that have plural slant angles in a predetermined range, respectively; and an inspection processing unit determines a skew angle of the scan image data, selects a reference image corresponding to the slant angle among the plural reference images, and compares the reference image data of the selected reference image and the scan image data and thereby performs inspection of the print product.

An electronic apparatus includes a remote operation executor, a support information manager, and a display controller. The remote operation executor executes remote operation that receives the operation support from an operator terminal. The support information manager obtains support information from a support information storage, the support information storage storing, as the support information, operation procedure data indicating a series of operation inputted at the operator terminal. To provide a sleep mode control system restricting power consumption while an image forming apparatus (ifma) is in a sleep mode (slm) and allowing a user to deactivate the sleep mode without impairing his/her convenience. The sleep mode control system includes the imf entering the slm to reduce power consumption and a power generator provided below a passage floor on which the imf is mounted. The power generator has a power generation unit, when stepped, provides a private power generation and an electromotive force detection unit detecting an electromotive force generated at the power generation unit successively, generating a pulse signal using the resulting electromotive force, and outputting the resulting pulse signal successively. The ifma has a sleep control part deactivating the slm, while the ifma is being in the slm, based on a signal pattern of the pulse signal outputted from the electromotive force detection unit.

An image formation device includes a document box, an operating section, a version check control section, a document data update control section, and a print control section. When receiving a select operation, the version check control section determines whether or not a selected piece of document data has been updated on an external server. If the selected data has been updated on the external server, the document data update control section downloads an updated piece of document data from the external server and updates the piece of document data in the document box. An image forming apparatus includes an operation panel, a printing device, a storage device, a job management unit, a power-saving mode setting unit, and an operation mode control unit.
