A dual swing lid mechanism includes a base section and a lid openable and closable with respect to the base section. The lid includes a lid main body section, an arm section, a first supporting shaft, and a second supporting shaft. The lid main body section has a lock mechanism including a first rod engageable with the arm section and a second rod engageable with the base section. The lid changes among a closed state; a first opened state of opening a containing section with the first supporting shaft as a center; and a second opened state of opening the containing section with the second supporting shaft as the center. The first rod engages with the arm section in the closed state and the first opened state and disengages from the arm section in the second opened state. The second rod engages with the base section in the closed state and the second opened state and disengages from the base section in the first opened state.

Lid mechanism

A lid opening/closing mechanism includes an arm, an arc-shaped gear, a first fixed gear, a damper, a second fixed gear, and a tension spring. The arm is disposed integrally to project from the lid to swing about a swing center as the lid opens and closes. The arc-shaped gear is formed in the arm. The first fixed gear is disposed in the body, and meshes with the arc-shaped gear. The damper is disposed in the arm, and includes a damper gear. The second fixed gear is disposed in the body, is formed along a movement locus of the damper moving as the lid moves to open and close, and meshes with the damper gear. The tension spring is disposed between the body and the arc-shaped gear to urge the lid in an opening direction.

Lid opening/closing mechanism

There is provided a cup holder including a holder body, an opening formed in a side wall of the holder body, a support supported on the side wall so as to advance into or retreat from a storage space through the opening, and a leaf spring disposed between the support and the side wall and biasing the support in a direction in which the support advances into the storage space. The support has a turning shaft serving as a center of swinging of the support and a swinging portion swinging around the turning shaft by turning of the turning shaft. On a peripheral edge of the opening formed in the side wall, a nipped portion protrudes to the outside of the side wall and swingably holds the support by being nipped between the turning shaft and the swinging portion while the support advances or retreats.

Cup holder

A vehicle interior panel includes a base member including a door portion and a cover member adhered to a surface of the base member by an adhesive layer. The door portion includes an end that is opened by an inflation pressure of an airbag. The end of the door portion forms a base member end together with an end of a base member body of the base member. The adhesive layer has an adhesive force set so that the cover member that covers a portion of the base member body that is adjacent to the door portion is separated from the adjacent portion as the door portion opens when pushed by the inflation pressure of the airbag.

A cup holder has a height adjuster that includes a lock member turnably held by the tray, a guide groove that is formed on a sidewall of the holder body and that enables the lock member to move in a perpendicular direction, a lower latch recessed portion and an upper latch recessed portion that are formed on a groove side surface which faces the guide groove on the sidewall and that cause the tray to be held at a lower position or an upper position by latching the lock member, a latch energizing member that energizes the lock member to a latch direction for latching the lock member with the lower latch recessed portion or the upper latch recessed portion, an operation member that cancels latch of the lock member with the lower latch recessed portion when the tray is located at the lower position, and a movement energizing member that energizes the tray upward.
