An overturn prevention device for an apparatus including a main body horizontally installed, and a tiltable housing being tiltable relative to the main body by a first rotary shaft incorporated in the main body, the overturn prevention device includes: a second rotary shaft disposed in the main body and extending in a direction vertical to the main body; a rotational force transmission mechanism disposed between the first rotary shaft and the second rotary shaft and configured to rotate the second rotary shaft by transmitting rotation of the first rotary shaft to the second rotary shaft; and an overturn prevention member disposed on the second rotary shaft and configured to protrude from the main body in a tilting direction of the tiltable housing when the second rotary shaft rotates with a tilting operation of the tiltable housing.

A hinge device used in an electronic device used by opening a second housing from a closed state to a predetermined angle relative to a first housing, includes: a first housing connector configured to rotatably hold a hinge rotating shaft on the first housing; a second housing connector configured to fix the hinge rotating shaft to the second housing; a hinge torque generation mechanism provided in a connection between the first housing connector and the second housing connector and configured to generate a predetermined rotation torque between the hinge rotating shaft and the first housing connector; a hinge lock mechanism provided on the first housing side and configured to restrain rotation of the hinge rotating shaft in response to input of a lock signal; and a control unit capable of generating the lock signal to the hinge lock mechanism.

A hinge device that makes a second housing openable and closeable with respect to a first housing in an electronic device with the first housing and the second housing, includes: a shaft connected to the first housing; a lever having an end into which the shaft is inserted, the end that is rotatable around an axis of the shaft, and another end connected to the second housing; a friction plate that is situated next to the lever, the friction plate into which the shaft is inserted, the friction plate that is not rotatable around the axis of the shaft; and a pressing section that presses the friction plate in a direction of the lever along the axis of the shaft, wherein contact faces of the lever and the friction plate are formed to have a conical shape.

Hinge device

An information apparatus, includes: a first-housing and a second-housing; and a link mechanism spanned from a front side of the second-housing to a rear side of the first-housing in a state in which the second-housing is superposed over the first-housing, the link mechanism including a link provided with a first-rotation axis at one end and provided with a second-rotation-axis at another end, a first bracket that pivotally supports the first-rotation-axis and is provided on a side of the first-housing, a second bracket that pivotally supports the second-rotation-axis and is provided on a side of the second-housing, and an urging part that urges the link in a direction in which the second-rotation-axis moves away from the first-housing, wherein when the second-housing tilts from the first-housing, the link mechanism allows one end of the second-housing to slide over the first-housing and the second-housing tilts in an upper space of the first-housing.

Information apparatus and link mechanism of information apparatus

A link mechanism which links a main body and a display part of an information apparatus with a display part which can be opened and closed with respect to a main body is made a four-section articulated link mechanism which arranges first and second joints on the main body and arranges third and fourth joints on the display part. The first joint is fixed in position, the second joint is made slidable with respect to the first joint, and the third and fourth joints are positioned at two ends of a slide block which can slide on the display part. Due to this, the four-section articulated link mechanism can make the display part simultaneously slide and tilt with respect to the main body from the closed position.

A tilt mechanism for an information device including a body and a display is capable of changing a tilt angle of the display after the display is tilted on the body by pulling up an upper end of the display laid on the body and sliding a lower end of the display over the body. One of two links is rotatably connected to the display, the other of the links to the body, the two links engage each other. Until a roller provided at the lower end of the display engages a support provided on the body, the two links firmly engage each other so as to maintain the total length of the two links, and after the roller engages the support, the two kinks are capable to change the tilt angle by changing the total length of the two links.

A portable device includes: a first housing; a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing, the second housing being slidable from one end of the predetermined slidable range to the other end thereof via the middle position thereof; a first and second spring members; a first and second arms; a connecting arm connecting the first spring member with the second spring member; wherein when the second housing is slid from the one end to the middle position, the first and second spring members generate a reaction force while the second spring member stays in the initial position, and when the second housing is slid from the middle position to the other end, the first and second spring members move along the sliding of the second housing.

A movable apparatus drive system comprises a driving device for the movable apparatus, a first output device for detecting environmental information around the movable apparatus and for outputting a corresponding signal in response to the environmental information data, a second output device for outputting a command signal to drive the driving device so as to move the movable apparatus to a target position, based on target position data of the movable apparatus to be moved and current position data of the movable apparatus; and a supply device for supplying a composite signal constituted by the environmental information data and the command signal. Moreover, a robot control system comprises a control device for controlling the motion of a robot in response to a command signal to the robot; a spring mechanism provided at a working point of the robot for detecting a deflection (displacement ) caused by an external force applied to the robot; and a feedback means for feeding back a deflection feedback value obtained by multiplying detected output of the spring meachnisum by a predetermined gain. The control device controls the motion of the robot in response to the addition of a position command generated from the control means and the deflection feedback value.

A force-detecting apparatus includes an elastic member deformable symmetrically with respect to the center. First displacement-detecting means, detect displacements of the elastic member, at positions symmetric with respect to the center, in the same direction with respect to an axis passing through the center of the elastic member, and second displacement-detecting means detect displacements of the elastic member, at the positions symmetric with respect to the center, in opposite directions with respect to an axis passing through the center of the elastic member.
