A jet propulsion watercraft includes a vessel body, a jet pump that is disposed at the vessel body and that includes a water jet opening, and a first guide that is attached to the vessel body. The jet pump generates a thrust by sucking in water existing around the vessel body and jetting the water from the water jet opening. The first guide receives water flowing on a lateral side of the vessel body and generates a downforce that generates a wake behind the vessel body.

Jet propulsion watercraft

A watercraft includes a vessel body, a marine propulsion device and a guide. The marine propulsion device is attached to the vessel body and includes a water stream generator that propels the vessel body. The guide is provided on the vessel body and extends astern of the vessel body and toward a center of the vessel body in a width direction of the vessel body from a position located sideward of the water stream generator. The guide inwardly directs water flowing on one lateral side of the vessel body such that confluent timing of the water flowing on the one lateral side of the vessel body and water flowing on the other lateral side of the vessel body is caused to occur earlier than when the guide is not provided on the vessel body.

A boat includes a boat body, a propulsion unit, a steering wheel that turns about a first turning axis and has a circular or substantially circular shape or an arcuate or substantially arcuate shape about the first turning axis, and an operator unit on the steering wheel including a first operator which is located in a first direction with respect to the first turning axis and a second operator which is located in a second direction with respect to the first turning axis, and that performs a throttle operation and a shift operation on the propulsion unit.

Boat and boat maneuvering system

A marine vessel propulsion device includes an engine, a jet propulsion unit, and a reverse gate. The jet propulsion unit includes a jet port arranged to jet water toward a rear of a hull. The reverse gate is arranged to be capable of being changed in opening degree between a fully closed position of covering an entirety of the jet port and a fully opened position of not covering the jet port at all. The reverse gate is arranged to be moved, between the fully closed position and the fully opened position, to a first partially closed position of only partially covering the jet port and a second partially closed position of only partially covering the jet port and being closer to the fully opened position than the first partially closed position.

Marine vessel propulsion device and marine vessel including the same

A water jet propulsion watercraft includes a pair of jet propulsion devices arranged right and left of a hull centerline. Each jet propulsion device includes a jetting unit arranged to jet water, a deflector supported on the hull and arranged to rotate to right and left, the deflector including a forward drive jet port and a reverse drive jet port. Each jet propulsion device includes a bucket arranged to change between a forward drive position and a reverse drive position. The bucket includes a reflecting surface arranged to reflect the water jetted from the forward drive jet port when the bucket is at the reverse drive position, and an auxiliary nozzle including an entrance opened to the reflecting surface and arranged to jet water introduced into the entrance along a hull right/left direction. The entrance of the auxiliary nozzle is spaced away from the forward drive jet port in the hull right/left direction and does not oppose the forward drive jet port in a state where the bucket is arranged at the reverse drive position and the deflector is arranged at the straight drive position.
