A vehicle body front section structure capable of suppressing deformation of a vehicle body in a small overlap collision is obtained. A vehicle body front section structure includes a front side member with a crash box attached to a vehicle front end, a coupling member that is interposed between and joined to the crash box and the front side member at a vehicle front end side, and that is joined to a fender apron section at a vehicle rear end, and a spacer that is disposed at a portion overlapping with the front side member in a vehicle vertical direction between the front side member and the coupling member.

Vehicle body front section structure

A vehicle front section structure includes a front side member that is formed with a front flange at a vehicle front-rear direction front end; a crash box that is joined to the front flange at a rear flange formed at a vehicle front-rear direction rear end; and a coupling member that is joined to a fender apron section at a vehicle rear end. The coupling member includes a joining plate formed at a vehicle front end side joined to the front flange in an interposed state between the front flange and the rear flange, with a front end side of a portion of the coupling member positioned at a vehicle width direction outer side of the front side member angled such that in plan view a rear side is separated further to the vehicle width direction outer side from the front side member than the vehicle front side.

Vehicle front section structure

A vehicle body side portion structure is disposed with a pair of right and left roof side rails disposed along a vehicle anteroposterior direction on both sides of a roof reinforcement that extends along a vehicle width direction of a roof and connection portions that bond together the roof side rails and the roof reinforcement. First fold portions in vehicle width direction outside end portions of the connection portions are disposed in a position higher in a vehicle vertical direction than second fold portions in vehicle width direction inside end portions of the connection portions. When a side load F equal to or greater than a predetermined value is inputted, the first fold portions rotate and move towards the vehicle upper side with the second fold portions acting as supporting points, the first fold portions become bent so as to become convex towards the vehicle upper side.
