There is provided a hollow composite magnetic member obtained by partially reforming a hollow member which is formed of a ferromagnetic material containing Cr of 15 mass % or more and 18 mass % or less, in which the reformed portion includes an alloy containing Cr of 8 mass % or more and 18 mass % and Ni of 6.5 mass % or more and 50 mass % or less. Accordingly, a hollow composite magnetic member having a small width of the nonmagnetic portion and a fuel injection valve having the same can be provided.

In the present invention, two side-section side surfaces and each horizontal passage run along a fuel flow direction and have a linear section, and an end-section side surface formed between the two side-section side surfaces and forming an upstream-side end portion has a curved section connected to the side-section side surfaces and. When a fuel inlet and the horizontal passages are projected onto a plane perpendicular to a valve axial center, a projected line of the linear section of each of the horizontal passages extends to a place intersecting a projected line of the opening edge of the fuel inlet, and the upstream-side end portion of each of the horizontal passages extends toward the inside of the opening edge.

Fuel injection valve

A fuel injection valve includes a valve seat, a valve element, and a plurality of swirl fuel injection passages. The plurality of swirl fuel injection passages are divided into a first swirl fuel injection passage group that forms a first spray and a second swirl fuel injection passage group that forms a second spray that is oriented in a direction different from a first direction.

A solenoid pipe is formed of a ferromagnetic material containing 15-18 mass % of Cr, an electromagnetic coil, and a valve body. The pipe includes a reform portion, having a composition in which a component of the ferromagnetic material is mixed with a component of a Ni-containing material. There is provided a manufacturing method of a hollow composite magnetic member having weakened magnetism in a portion of a ferromagnetic hollow member, the method includes: a step of forming a weak-magnetic area having weakened magnetism by melting and mixing a Ni-containing material and the hollow member by continuously supplying the Ni-containing material to a portion of the hollow member and heating the irradiation area having a line segment shape with the laser beam. Disclosed is a fuel injection valve comprising: a fuel injection orifice provided in a downstream side of a valve seat which a valve body moves toward and away from; a swirl chamber having a swirl passage formed around the entry opening of the fuel injection orifice; and a transverse passage whose end is opened in an inner circumferential wall of the swirl chamber in order to provide a fuel into the swirl chamber, wherein a center of the entry opening is shifted from a first position where the velocity component in the swirl direction of the fuel can be maximized to a second position where the velocity component in the swirl direction is reduced, and where a velocity component in a center axis direction of the fuel injection orifice is enhanced. Thereby, it is possible to easily adjust a fuel injection amount and a spray angle.

One passage for swirling is formed in an orifice plate fixed on a nozzle body. Two swirl chambers in which fuel is caused to swirl so that the fuel has swirling force are provided at an end of the one passage for swirling on the downstream side of the flow direction of fuel. Therefore, the collision between the swirling flow in the swirl chamber and the fuel flowing in the passage for swirling is mitigated, and the swirling flow can be smoothly produced to promote pulverization of sprays injected from fuel injection ports.

With this arrangement, even if a foreign thing is accidently mixed into the fuel passage during the production process, the foreign thing can be removed with a shorter running-in operation time.

The present invention includes a bobbin having a winding part around which a coil winding is wound, a terminal extending from the bobbin in the axial direction of the bobbin, and a wrapping part which is provided to the terminal and in which a terminal lead wire pulled out from a coil part that is wound around the winding part is wrapped and fused. The terminal lead wire wired between the bobbin and the wrapping part in a state of being in contact with the surface of the terminal. The peripheries of the bobbin, the wiring part of the terminal lead wire and the wrapping part are covered with resin.

A fuel injection valve realizing improved circumferential uniformity of swirling fuel is provided. The fuel injection valve includes a swirling chamber having an inner peripheral wall whose curvature is gradually larger from upstream to downstream, a path for swirling which, having a fuel flow-in region formed along a valve axis direction, guides fuel to the swirling chamber, and a fuel injection orifice open into the swirling chamber. In the fuel injection valve, the path for swirling is inclined toward the fuel injection orifice formed on a downstream side of the swirling chamber.
