A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator and a case. The rotor includes a rotor core, a plurality of permanent magnets disposed in the rotor core, and an end face plate disposed such that an inside surface thereof is in contact with an end face of the rotor core. The stator includes a stator core and a coil disposed in the stator core, and is disposed on an outer peripheral side of the rotor to face the rotor. The case accommodates the rotor and the stator, and includes a storage portion for storing liquid therein. A lower part of the rotor is immersed in the storage portion, and a liquid guide groove or a liquid guide hole is provided on an outside surface of the end face plate to extend in a radial direction.

A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator and a case. Rotary electric machine and method of manufacturing the same

A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, stator and a motor case. The rotor includes a rotor core, plural magnets disposed in the rotor core, and an end face plate disposed such that an inside surface thereof is in contact with an end face of the rotor core. The stator includes a stator core and a coil. The stator is disposed on an outer peripheral side of the rotor to face the rotor. The motor case accommodates the rotor and the stator and has a storage portion for storing liquid therein. A lower part of the rotor is immersed in the storage portion, and the motor case has an inclined wall extending from an upper side toward the permanent magnet or a peripheral part of the permanent magnet and guiding liquid scraped upward by the rotor to the magnet or the peripheral part of the magnet.

Rotary electric machine and driving system

The present invention enhances the repeatability of a low gray scale display of an image display device which uses oil layers. The enhancement of the repeatability of a low gray scale display can be realized by an image display device which includes a first insulation layer, a second insulation layer, a first oil layer which is arranged between the first insulation layer and the second insulation layer and, at the same time, is provided on a first insulation layer side, a second oil layer which is arranged between the first insulation layer and the second insulation layer and, at the same time, is provided on a second insulation layer side, first electrodes which are arranged outside the first insulation layer, and second electrodes which are arranged outside the second insulation layer.

Image display device

In an image display apparatus using an FED or an organic EL element, image display that is high in illumination uniformity and high in image quality can be performed. A display element with a matrix structure which conducts linear sequential driving which determines the luminance by a current is used, a threshold voltage of a cathode line immediately before one select period has been terminated where a control electrode line is sequentially driven is measured by a threshold voltage measuring section, the measured threshold voltage is recorded for each of the pixels, and a driving signal at the time of selecting the pixel is corrected by using the value of the recorded threshold voltage, to thereby control electric charge that is emitted from a cathode.

Flat panel display apparatus

A manufacturing method of organic electroluminescence display device according to the present invention performs (1) a first step for forming a non-affinity region in a surface of an anode provided in each of pixels arranged on a glass substrate by exposing the glass substrate in a saturated vapor pressure of an organic solvent, (2) a second step for forming an affinity region in a central portion of the anode surface spaced from its edges by irradiating the central portion of the anode surface with ultraviolet light, and (3) a third step for forming polymer material layers which constitute an organic electroluminescent element in the each of the pixels in the affinity region by blowing off polymer material solutions onto the affinity region of the anode in the each of the pixels, in this order, to simplify entire steps in, to reduce cost for, and to improve productivity of the manufacturing process of the organic electroluminescence display device thereby.

Flat panel display device including electron beam sources and control electrodes

A structure is provided which facilitates manufacturing of a flat type image display element which includes electrodes capable of enhancing the display efficiency with an extremely small control electrode current using a cathode material which can obtain a sufficient intensity of electron emission in a low electric field. A structure is provided in which control electrodes and cathodes are formed substantially on a the plane on a first panel, while control electrode lines which electrically connect the control electrodes of a plurality of pixels are not included in the plane which is parallel to a phosphor screen panel and includes the cathodes and the control electrodes.

A lithographic method for forming a mask pattern is useful for etching wiring or insulator layers on a substrate. A catalyst generation layer and a latent image formation layer are formed on the target layer prior to application of actinic radiation to activate a catalyst in the catalyst generation layer in accordance with a predetermined pattern. The activated catalyst diffuses into the latent image formation layer to form a latent image, which then serves as a mask pattern for etching the catalyst generation layer, latent image formation layer and target layer. The catalyst generation layer may be formed prior to the latent image formation layer, or vice versa. In another embodiment, the catalyst generation layer is formed prior to the radiation step, but the latent image formation layer is formed after application of the actinic radiation.

High-resolution lithography and semiconductor device manufacturing method

A photosensitive composition comprising a water-soluble polymer, a dichromate and at least one aromatic diazonium salt selected from aromatic diazonium sulfates, sulfonates and chromates has high sensitivity, and a pattern having high resolution can be formed therefrom with a shortened exposure time.
