Calcium nitrate, which is known to have the effect of inhibiting elution of phosphorus contained as insoluble substance in sludge in rivers, lakes and coasts in a reducing environment, can be applied not by injection of an aqueous solution of calcium nitrate, but by putting it in a solid form. An agent for inhibiting elution of phosphorus is proposed which comprises calcium nitrate as the major component (10-30%), calcium carbonate or calcium sulfate (a total of 50-90%), and stearic acid or its salt (1-20%) as a hydrophobic substance for delaying elution of the calcium salt, and sucrose fatty acid isobutyl or paraoxy isobutyl benzoate (1-20%) as a binder, and the composition is pressed in a mold into tablets or briquette. The application into sludge by use of an air gun is preferable.

A transfer sheet comprises a support, and a transfer layer separable from the support and receivable an ink, wherein the transfer layer contains a hot-melt adhesive particle. The hot-melt adhesive particle in the transfer sheet comprises a particle having a melting point of more than 80&deg; C. (A) and a particle having a melting point of not more than 80&deg; C. (B), and the particle (A) comprises a hot-melt adhesive particle having an oil absorption of not less than 50 ml/100 g (A1) and a hot-melt adhesive particle having an oil absorption of less than 50 ml/100 g (A2). Further, the transfer layer may comprise a film-formable resin component and a dye fixing agent. The transfer sheet is excellent in stability on delivery of a sheet, so prevents the inside of the printer from staining, and excels in ink-absorption to a degree that the stain transfer does not occur.

Transfer sheets

An inkjet printing paper of noncoated type, in which the feathering is prevented and the conveyability is improved. This inkjet printing paper comprises calcium carbonate as its filler wherein the filler contains ash of 10 to 30 weight % as defined in JIS P 8128 and wherein the paper has Stockigt sizing degree of 0.001 to 0.05 sec/g/m according to JIS P 8122. Further, in this paper, X-ray image obtained from area-analysis with an energy-distributed X-ray microanalyzer for the surface of the inkjet printing paper, the area of white part, which indicates the presence of calcium, is 3 to 40% related to the total area of the X-ray image.

Piping support of a gas turbine steam cooled combustor is improved such that even when the piping support is damaged by combustion vibration, dropping of the piping support from the piping is prevented, so as to avoid intrusion of fractions of the piping support into turbine portion. An outer fitting member is fixed to a wall surface of a tail tube by welds. A ring is pinched inside the outer fitting member to be fixed by welds. The ring having an inner diameter slightly larger than an outer diameter of steam piping is fitted around the steam piping to be fixed by welds at three places. The steam piping is fixed to the ring, the ring is fixed to the outer fitting member and the outer fitting member is fixed to the tail tube. Thus, the steam piping is supported to the tail tube and even when the welds are detached by combustion vibration, no case of the outer fitting member dropping from the steam piping occurs.

A disk drive suitable for receiving removable, cartridge-based media including a movable shutter, comprising a cartridge holder having a bottom guiding area divided into two sections along the side of the cartridge, along with a shutter guide formed therebetween near a central rotary drive used to position the media within the cartridge. The shutter guide guides the cartridge shutter upward from the central rotary drive when a cartridge is either being inserted into or extracted from the holder. Therefore, the cartridge can always be extracted even when the cartridge shutter comes close to the rotary drive due to its own weight and without being directly guided by the cartridge holder. Furthermore, the shutter guide is preferably formed protruding toward the central rotary drive and disposed adjacent thereto, it is possible to guide the cartridge shutter only when it passes near the rotary drive during cartridge extraction, and thus no undue force is applied to the cartridge when it is positioned for read/write access.

The invention is directed to an optical recording member including a thin film photosensitive layer provided on a base. The thin film photosensitive layer may vary between a low optical density state and a high optical density state when optical energy is applied thereto. This thin film photosensitive layer contains a first element which may be a metal or semimetal, a second element which is at least one selected from Te, Ge, Sn, Al, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Mo, Rh, Pd, Ag, Cd, In, Ta, W, Pt, Au, Tl, Pb, Si, Sb, Bi, and an oxygen element. Part of the oxygen element is bonded with the first element to form its oxide. The ratio x of the total number of atoms of the oxygen element to that of the first element, when the maximum valence of the first element in a stable oxide state is n, is according to the relation of 0&lt;x&lt;n/2. At least part of the second element exists in a non-oxide state. This thin film photosensitive layer is formed by a vacuum deposition or sputtering method. By irradiating the optical recording medium with light, information may be recorded or recorded information may be erased.

A disk cartridge having a cleaning mechanism. The disk cartridge comprises a disk for peripheral storage of computer and a hard shell which is made of plastic and contains the disk. A liner is disposed between a disk and a shell. An opening is provided in one part of shell and a plate is disposed in the opening to press a liner. In order to press the plate, a pressure means such as a spring is provided in a read/write apparatus. As a result, dust is completely removed from the disk. Further, a pressure means for pressing the liner is provided outside of a shell, maintaining the stable pressure of spring for a long time. As a result, disk is improved in reliability.
