Surveillance television camera

A camera includes a flange back adjusting mechanism in which the operation of the flange back adjusting mechanism is not obstructed, and the flange back adjustment is easily performed. A flange back adjusting mechanism which moves and adjusts a CCD in the direction of the optical axis can be operated by an operation section which protrudes to the outside of a case portion through an operation window. The operation window is opened in a side wall face of a camera chassis separating rearward from a lens mount portion along the direction of the optical axis and on a peripheral wall of a case portion of the camera chassis.

Camera with flange back adjusting mechanism

An iris camera module includes an image pickup optical system and a target optical system and the optical path is divided by a half mirror. An image of an iris is picked up by an image pickup element of an image pickup section. The iris image thus picked up is compared with a reference iris image stored in a storage in advance and the comparison result is output. The iris camera module has a configuration fit for a compact design. The reference iris image as a reference for comparison is stored in the storage of the comparison chip. It is thus difficult to falsify the reference iris image thereby providing a high security.

Iris camera module

A pivoting unit pivots a video camera at a pivoting speed. The video camera includes a zoom mechanism and a zoom amount signal generation circuit for generating a zoom amount signal. A pivoting speed command signal generating circuit responsive to an operation generates a pivoting speed command signal and a speed controlling circuit controls the pivoting speed in accordance with the zoom amount signal and the pivoting speed command signal. Controlling is made such that the pivoting speed is relatively decreased from the pivoting speed command signal when the zoom amount signal indicates a telephoto side and is relatively increased from the pivoting speed command signal when the zoom signal indicates a wide-angle. A joystick generating the pivoting speed command signal includes two coil springs for generating a reaction force which is made stronger when the operation angle of thereof exceeds a reference. The pivoting speed is also accelerated when the operation angle exceeds the reference.

Video camera pivoting apparatus, a pivoting video camera apparatus, and a monitoring system with a pivoting video camera

In a monitor camera system capable of understanding a direction, a monitor camera follows, through a picture taken by the monitor camera, the monitor camera makes 360-degree pan rotation and 180-degree tilt rotation, and generates image data in which a character representative of a photographing direction (for example, north) of the monitor camera is superimposed on a picture taken by the monitor camera. Accordingly, the monitor camera provides a picture in which the photographing direction indicating character appears. This enables an operator to easily understand the camera direction through the monitor picture, thus achieving efficient and accurate camera manipulation.

Monitor camera system and method of displaying picture from monitor camera thereof

A motor-driven pan-tilt unit such as a pan-tilt camera mount designed to remotely control panning and tilting motion of, for example, a surveillance camera is provided. The pan-tilt unit includes a pan mechanism, a transmitting unit, and an optical signal transmitting unit. The pan mechanism has a stationary housing and a rotary shaft in connection with the camera. The transmitting unit includes a plurality of conductive rings and a plurality of conductive contacts. Each of the conductive rings is mounted on one of the rotary shaft and an inner wall of the stationary housing in electrical contact with one of the conductive contacts to establish transmission of electric power and control signals required for a tilt mechanism and the camera. The optical signal transmitting unit includes a light-emitting element and a light-sensitive element. One of the light-emitting element and the light-sensitive element is attached to an end of the rotary shaft so as to establish transmission of an optical signal from the light-emitting element to the light-sensitive element for transmitting image data from the camera to a signal processing circuit mounted on a stationary part of the pan-tilt unit. The housing defines therewithin a hermetic chamber within which the transmitting unit and the optical signal transmitting unit are disposed, thereby avoiding sticking of dust to the units, for example.

Structure of motor-driven swing unit

A rotary plate has an eccentric shaft and a recessed portion which are spaced from a rotary shaft. A shutter is connected to the eccentric shaft by a swing arm which is rotatable about the eccentric shaft. A pin is provided on the swing arm. When the rotary plate starts rotating from a closed condition of the shutter, the swing arm moves linearly to release the shutter even when the shutter freezes to the casing. When the swing arm further rotates, the pin engages with the recessed portion of the rotary plate. The swing arm is integrated with the rotary plate. The shutter is quickly opened. When the shutter is fully opened, the pin disengages from the recessed portion. As the eccentric shaft is located adjacent to the rotary shaft, a large force is transmitted to the shutter. Thus, it becomes possible to use a low-power motor to release the shutter from the camera casing even when they freeze together.

Shutter mechanism

A chassis has plate supporting pillars, insertion holes with engagement pegs, and an aperture brim connected to a lens holding unit. A photographic element package is attached to a plate. Contact surfaces are formed in the aperture brim so that distances from a center axis of a lens holding unit to the two adjacent contact surfaces of the aperture brim are the same as the distances from adjacent standard surfaces of the photographic element package to the center of the photographic element. Plate springs are provided on the mounting member, so that the photographic element package standard surfaces press against the contact surfaces. Plate springs press the plate against the plate supporting pillars. Insertion plates with engagement holes are provided on the mounting member, so that the insertion plates are inserted into the insertion holes and the engagement pegs engage the engagement holes, thereby completing the mounting of the plate on the chassis.

Mounting structure for the photographic element of a camera

An electronic tuning circuit for AM receiver is disclosed which is so designed that tracking errors are minimized by increasing the accuracy of constants for tuning coils, oscillation coils and capacitance elements incorporated in an antenna tuning circuit, a high-frequency amplifier circuit and a local oscillator circuit which constitute the electronic tuning circuit. After the electronic tuning circuit has been mounted in place, tracking adjustment is effected at one point of the receiving frequency band, or alternatively no such adjustment is required.

Electronic tuning circuit for AM receiver which is easy to effect

In a tuning circuit for AM receiver, tuning coils, oscillation coils and capacitance elements of an antenna tuning circuit, a radio frequency amplifier circuit, and a local oscillator circuit are accommodated in discrete shield casings for high frequency coils; and the discrete shield casings are disposed in a row and united with each other in the form of blocks, thereby eliminating the necessity to effect tracking adjustment.
