A coil component includes a cover member containing an ultraviolet curable resin and a filler made of flat particles each having a major axis and a minor axis. The filler preferably contains talc particles. The particles of the filler contained in a portion of the cover member that covers a top surface of the flange are aligned to orient the major axes parallel or substantially parallel to the top surface. The filler contained in the portion of the cover member that covers the top surface has an area ratio of from 15.0% to 50.1% in a section of the cover member taken along a plane that passes through the central axis of a winding core portion and orthogonally intersects the top surface. The grain size of the particles of the filler in D50 is from 1 μm to 30 μm.

Coil component

In the wound inductor component, a flange is connected to a first end of a winding core in the central axial line direction, and protrudes from both sides of the winding core along a height direction. A cover member covers a portion from the upper end of the flange to the upper end of the winding core from above. In a sectional view including the central axial line and along the height direction, an area of a first region at an upwardly protruding portion of the flange defined by a boundary between the flange and the winding core, a straight line parallel to the central axial line and passing through the upper end of the flange, and a region surrounded by a portion of the surface of the flange is larger than an area of a similarly defined second region at a downwardly protruding portion of the flange.

Wound inductor component

In a wound inductor component, a first flange and a second flange are connected to both ends of a winding core in the central axial line direction, and protrude from the winding core to both sides in a height direction. A cover member covers a portion from the upper end of the first flange to the upper end of the winding core from above. In a sectional view including the central axial line and along the height direction, a first average distance, which is an average distance in the height direction from the upper end of the first flange to the upper end of the cover member, is 25% or more and 45% or less (i.e., 25% to 45%) of a second average distance, which is an average distance in the height direction from the upper end of the winding core to the upper end of the cover member.

An electronic component capable of obtaining higher attenuation characteristics. The electronic component includes a substrate, a first inductor and a second inductor disposed on a main surface of the substrate, and a transmission line provided on the substrate and connecting the first inductor and the second inductor in series. A first central axis of the first inductor and a second central axis of the second inductor are parallel to a main surface of the substrate and are not located on the same linear line when viewed from a direction orthogonal to the main surface of the substrate. The first inductor and the second inductor are arranged at a distance for magnetic coupling.

Electronic component

An inductor component includes a core including a winding core portion, a first collar disposed at a first end of the winding core portion in an axial direction, and a second collar disposed at a second end of the winding core portion in the axial direction. The inductor component further includes a first electrode disposed on the first collar; a second electrode disposed on the second collar; and a wire electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode and wound around the winding core portion in such a manner as to form a plurality of wound regions arranged along the axial direction of the winding core portion. A distance between adjacent ones of the wound regions is greater than a winding pitch of the wire in each of the wound regions.

Inductor component

An electronic component includes a single-layer glass plate, an outer-surface conductor that is disposed above an outer surface of the single-layer glass plate and that is at least a part of an electrical element, and a terminal electrode that is a terminal of the electrical element. The terminal electrode is disposed above the outer surface of the single-layer glass plate and being electrically connected to the outer-surface conductor.

Electronic component, electronic-component mounting board, and electronic-component manufacturing method

A balun includes a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a first inductor, an unbalanced signal port, a first balanced signal port, and a second balanced signal port. The first capacitor and the second capacitor are electrically connected in series between the unbalanced signal port and the first balanced signal port. The first inductor is electrically connected in parallel to the first capacitor and the second capacitor electrically connected in series. A second signal path is electrically connected to a first signal path between the first capacitor and the second capacitor, and the second balanced signal port is electrically connected to the second signal path.

Balun

An electronic component includes an upper surface, a lower surface, a side surface, a circuit pattern, and an upper surface shield electrode. The circuit pattern is provided inside the electronic component. The upper surface shield electrode is disposed on the upper surface. In a plan view from a normal direction of the upper surface, a center of gravity of the upper surface shield electrode is spaced from a center of gravity of the upper surface.

A balanced filter includes an unbalanced terminal, an unbalanced-side inductor, a first balanced terminal, a second balanced terminal, a balanced-side inductor, a power supply line, and a matching network. The unbalanced-side inductor is provided between the unbalanced terminal and a ground. The balanced-side inductor is provided between the first balanced terminal and the second balanced terminal and couples to the unbalanced-side inductor via an electromagnetic field. The power supply line includes a first end connected to a middle portion of the balanced-side inductor and a second end connected to a direct-current power supply. The matching network matches a first impedance between the first balanced terminal and the second end of the power supply line to a second impedance between the second balanced terminal and the second end of the power supply line.

Balanced filter

A multilayer balun includes first, second, and third terminals, first and second inductors, and an open line conductor. The first inductor is electrically connected between the first terminal and ground points. The second inductor is electrically connected between the second terminal and the third terminal and is magnetically coupled with the first inductor. The open line conductor has one end that is an open end and another end that is electrically connected to a via conductor pattern, which is a signal path between the first terminal and ground points.

Multilayer balun

A balun includes first, second, and third terminals, first, second, and third inductors, and a capacitor. The first and second inductors are electrically connected in series with each other between the first terminal and a ground point. The capacitor is electrically connected in series with the first inductor between the first terminal and the ground point. The capacitor is electrically connected in parallel with the second inductor between the first inductor and the ground point. The third inductor is electrically connected between the second terminal and the third terminal. The third inductor is magnetically coupled with at least the first inductor.

A coil component includes a winding core portion; a first flange portion and a second flange portion disposed on both ends of the winding core portion; electrodes disposed on the first flange portion and the second flange portion; a first coil portion and a second coil portion electrically connected between the electrode of the first flange portion and the electrode of the second flange portion and connected to each other in series; and a projection portion disposed on an end surface of the first flange portion on the side opposite to the winding core portion. The first coil portion is disposed on the winding core portion, the second coil portion is disposed on the projection portion, and the first coil portion has an inductance value different from an inductance value of the second coil portion.

A multilayer electronic component includes a multilayer body including insulator layers that are stacked, linear conductor traces each provided between adjacent ones of the insulator layers, and via conductors. A helical or substantially helical inductor is provided in the multilayer body. When viewed in the stacking direction of the multilayer body, all of the linear conductor traces, except a portion of one linear conductor trace, are superimposed within an annular or substantially annular linear conductor trace region. The portion of the one linear conductor trace is displaced inwardly from the annular or substantially annular linear conductor trace region.

Multilayer electronic component and multilayer LC filter

A coil component capable of increasing normal mode impedance while maintaining common mode impedance is provided. The coil component includes a toroidal core, a first coil conductor and a second coil conductor wound around the toroidal core, and a ferrite bead attached to at least one coil conductor of the first coil conductor and the second coil conductor.

An LC parallel resonator includes a plurality of dielectric layers stacked on top of one another, a capacitor electrode, and an inductor electrode. The inductor electrode defines a loop including a connection point, as a start point, connected to the capacitor electrode. The inductor electrode includes a first line electrode, first via electrodes, and second via electrodes. The first line electrode extends in a direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to a stacking direction of the dielectric layers. The first via electrodes arranged in parallel or substantially in parallel with one another extend in the stacking direction of the dielectric layers, and connect the capacitor electrode to the first line electrode. The second via electrodes arranged in parallel or substantially in parallel with one another extend in the stacking direction of the dielectric layers and are connected to the first line electrode.
