Silver halide color photographic light sensitive material

Disclosed are a yellow coupler represented by the following formula (I) and a light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support, which comprises a two-equivalent yellow coupler represented by the following formula (I) being contained in at least one of the above silver halide emulsion layers: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group; R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.3 represents a straight unsubstituted alkyl group having 8 to 20 carbon atoms; X represents &gt;NR.sub.4, --O-- or --S(O).sub.n --; Y represents &gt;NR.sub.5 or ##STR2## where R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represent an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; and R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 each represent hydrogen atom, --OR.sub.8, ##STR3## and --S(O).sub.P R.sub.8 (where R.sub.8 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group and an aryl group; R.sub.9 represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 may be bonded mutually to form a hetero ring; and p represents an integer of 0 to 2); R.sub.6 and R.sub.7 may be bonded mutually to form a ring; and n represents an integer of 0 to 2; B.sub.1 represents a substitutable group on a benzene ring; and m represents an integer of 0 to 2.

Light-sensitive silver halide color photographic material

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed. The light-sensitive material comprises a greensen-sitive silver halide emulsion layer which contains a coupound represented by the following formula T and a magenta coupler represented by the following formula M-I: ##STR1## in formula T, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an acyl group or an alkoxycarbonyl group; X is a divalent group including a carbon atom as the component of the 6-member ring of formula T; and n is an integer of zero, 1 or 2. In formula M-I, Z is a group of non-metal atoms necessary to form a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; Xs is a hydrogen atom or a splitting off substitutent; and R.sub.9, R.sub.10 and R.sub.11 each is a hydrogen atom or a substituent provided that two or three groups represented by R.sub.9 to R.sub.11 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time. The light-sensitive material is improved in the light fastness of magenta image and prevented in formation of yellow stain in no image formed area.

Silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material

The present invention relates to a silver halide photographic material that has at least one photographic constituent layer on a support, which photographic material is characterized in that said at least one photographic constituent layer contains a dispersion obtained by emulsifying and dispersing at least one hydrophobic, photographically useful material and at least one polymer compound that is water-insoluble but soluble in organic solvents and which has a phenolic hydroxyl group.

Silver halide light-sensitive photographic material

A silver halide light-sensitive color photographic material which is capable of forming a dye image of improved spectral absorption characteristic, resulting in the improved color reproducibility as well as in the image preservability and which has a high maximum density is disclosed. The material comprises a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler having the following Formula [M-I], ##STR1## wherein Z, X and R is as defined in the description; and a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer contains a yellow coupler having the following Formula [Y-I]; ##STR2## wherein R.sub.21, R.sub.22, R.sub.23, n, R.sub.24, J and X.sub.1 are respectively as defined in the description.

A silver halide light-sensitive photographic material comprising a support and, provided thereon, at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a dye-forming coupler of Formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group; R.sub.2 is an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an acyl group or an aryl group; R.sub.3 is a group which is substituted to a benzene ring; n is an integer of zero or 1; R.sub.4 is an organic group containing one linkage group containing a carbonyl unit or a sulfonyl unit; J is a ##STR2## wherein R.sub.5 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; and X.sub.1 is a group capable of being split off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.

Silver halide light-sensitive photographic material containing a novel

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which contains a magenta coupler having a specific ballast group. The light-sensitive material is improved in solubility in an organic solvent, dispersibility and stability of dispersion in a silver halide emulsion. The coupler is represented by the following Formula M-1; ##STR1## wherein R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each a substituent provided that and at least one of which has a group represented by the following Formula I; and X is a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being split off upon reaction with the oxidation produce of a color developing agent; ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 is a hydrogen atom or a normal or branched alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms.

Silver halide light-sensitive color photographic material

A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material improved in the color fastness of yellow dye images against light is disclosed. The photographic material comprises a silver halide emulsion layers containing a compound represented by General Formula [I] and a yellow coupler represented by General Formula [II]: ##STR1## wherein J is an alkylene group, R.sub.1 through R.sub.3 are each substituents and n is an integer 1 to 3, ##STR2## wherein R.sub.11 and R.sub.12 are each a hydrogen atom or substituents and R.sub.13 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent and Z.sub.1 is a group capable of being splitted of from the coupler residue upon reaction of the coupler with the oxidized product of a color developing agent.

Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material

A novel silver halide photographic element which contains a nondiffusible complex capable of releasing a diffusible, photographically useful material is disclosed. Said nondiffusible complex becomes active for ligand exchange upon reduction under alkalin conditions to release a diffusible, photographically useful material, said complex being represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein La is a quadridentate ligand group; Lb is a didentate ligand group; BALL is a ballast group; PHOTO is a photographically useful material group; Y is a counter ion; and r is the number of counter ions necessary for neutralizing the electric charge on the CO(III) complex.

Silver halide photographic element

A photographic element containing a nondiffusible metal complex capable of releasing a diffusible photographically useful group. The complex contains at least one poly-dentate ligand which contains the photographically useful group. The complex may be activated when reduced under alkaline conditions to release the photographically useful group.

A photographic element comprising a support having thereof at least one silver halide emulsion layer and at least one temporary barrier layer, said temporary barrier layer comprising a mixture of a lactone polymer with repetitive units represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## and a vinylidene chloride terpolymer represented by the formula (II): ##STR2## wherein R is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl or an aralkyl group; R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; n.sup.1 is an integer of from 1 to 5, while n.sup.2 is an integer of 1 or 2; A is a monomer unit of a copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated acid or of the salt thereof, while B is a copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer unit; x represents from 50 to 99.5% by weight, y represents from 0.5 to 44.5% by weight, and z represents from 0 to 49.5% by weight.
