A work machine in which an engine and a reserving unit configured to reserve lubricating oil to be supplied to the engine are connected by a lubricating oil channel, and the lubricating oil is circulated, wherein at least a part of the lubricating oil channel and at least a part of a working fluid channel for a working fluid to be supplied to a work unit of the work machine are arranged such that heat can be exchanged between the lubricating oil and the working fluid.

There is provided a work machine. A reserving chamber reserves lubricating oil to be supplied to an engine. A channel forming member forms a channel of the lubricating oil from the reserving chamber to the engine A press-feed unit press-feeds the lubricating oil reserved in the reserving chamber to the engine via the channel forming member. Work machine, control method thereof, and supply system

An air-cooled engine for a working machine includes a fan cover, a muffler protector, and an insulator. The fan cover has a guide opening for guiding a cooling air toward an exhaust muffler. The muffler protector has air discharge holes for discharging the cooling air, which has been introduced through the guide opening into a guide passage, in a direction away from the working machine. The insulator has a deflector section bent toward a carburetor so that the cooling air having passed through another guide passage between the insulator and cylinder barrel is guided by the deflector section in a direction away from the working machine.

Breather mechanism includes a breather passage opening into a crankcase, a breather chamber communicating with the crankcase via the breather passage, and a valve provided in the breather chamber and openable to allow blow-by gas to flow from the crankcase into the breather chamber once inner pressure of the crankcase exceeds a predetermined value. When the engine is placed in a laterally laid-down position, entry, into the breather chamber, of lubricating oil is prevented by the breather passage. When the engine is placed in a vertically upright position, an outlet end portion of the breather passage is located above an inlet end portion of the breather passage.

A bearing holder () having a bearing () rotatably supporting a crankshaft () is fixed so as to face an opening () of the engine case (). A gas-liquid separation chamber () is formed between a cover member () covering the opening () and the bearing holder (). Therefore, by utilizing the bearing holder () as a part of the wall surface of the gas-liquid separation chamber (), the gas-liquid separation chamber () can be partitioned without increasing the number of components and without forming a special wall surface in the engine case (). Thus, it is possible to reduce the size and weight of the engine case (), and reduce the cost by simplifying the shape thereof and reducing the number of components. Also, a labyrinthis formed by ribs () projecting from the bearing holder () and the cover member (), and therefore gas-liquid separation can be effectively performed by the labyrinth (). Thus, it is possible to provide a small light gas-liquid separation device with a small number of components.

In an engine valve operating system, a timing transmission chamber () is formed on one side of an engine main body; the timing transmission chamber () houses a timing transmission system () that provides a connection between a crankshaft () and a camshaft () disposed above intake and exhaust valves (); opposite end parts of the camshaft () are supported by one side wall () of a cylinder head () and a dividing wall () that is adjacent to the timing transmission chamber (); and a valve operating chamber () housing the camshaft () is defined between said one side wall () and the dividing wall (). An oil slinger () is disposed in a lower part of the timing transmission chamber (). An oil passage hole () is provided in the dividing wall (), the oil passage hole () guiding scattered oil that has been shaken off in an upper part of the timing transmission system () to the valve operating chamber (). An oil return passage () is provided for transmitting pressure pulsations generated in the crank chamber () to the valve operating chamber (), and making oil that has collected in the valve operating chamber () flow downward to the crank chamber () within the crankcase (). Thus, the interiors of the timing transmission chamber and the valve operating chamber which are separated from each other can be lubricated without using an oil pump, while maintaining an arrangement in which the camshaft is disposed above the intake and exhaust valves.

A solar battery cell of a back-electrode type is used to enhance the photo-electric efficiency in which the electrical connecting structure for the solar battery cell is simplified, and the deterioration of connected portions can be prevented. The solar battery cell of a back-electrode type having second electrodes on the back thereof, are placed on and fixed to a board having first electrodes on its surface, so that the first electrodes and the second electrodes are electrically connected to each other. Output terminals are connected to the first electrodes on the board outside of and to the side of the solar battery cell, by soldering. A truncated conical light guide having a larger diameter-end face serving as a light receiving end face is placed on and fixed to a surface of the solar battery cell with the light receiving end face disposed in the vicinity of the focal point of the lens.
