The present disclosure relates to a connector and a manufacturing method or a connector. The connector includes: a terminal fitting; and a housing holding the terminal fitting. The housing includes a first resin molded body in which at least a part of the terminal fitting is embedded, the first resin molded body being made of a first material, and a second resin molded body in which at least a part of the first resin molded body is embedded, the second resin molded body being made of a second material. The first material has a linear thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the second material.

A connector includes a housing member having a fitting part that houses a terminal and is fitted to a counterpart connector provided in a connection target and a fixed part that is fixed to a fixed wall surface of the connection target together with the fitting part in the state in which the fitting part has been fitted to the counterpart connector. The fixed part has through holes, which communicate with fastening holes formed in the fixed wall surface along a fitting direction between the fitting part and the counterpart connector and into which fastening bolts fastened to the fastening holes are inserted along the fitting direction, in the state in which the fitting part has been fitted to the counterpart connector, and a screw hole into which a separation member is screwed.

Connector having structure for separating connector from connection target

A connector includes: an outer housing including an arm that protrudes from a first wall portion to a space portion surrounded by a housing main unit; an inner housing inside the housing main unit; and a detection member supported between the first wall portion and the inner housing slidably. The housing main unit has an opening portion in which a counterpart housing having a protrusion is inserted. The arm includes an arm main unit with flexibility extending toward the opening portion and a lock tab protruding from the arm main unit. When the counterpart housing is inserted, the arm main unit is elastically deformed to enable the lock tab to ride over and lock the protrusion. When the lock tab completes riding over, the lock tab allows the detection member to move toward the opening portion.

Connector and connector structure

A connector applied to a wire harness includes: a housing main body including a housing space part for housing a terminal along an axial direction, and an insertion port provided at one side of the housing space part in the axial direction and into which a counterpart terminal connected to the terminal is inserted; a lance that faces the housing space part, that is elastically deformably supported by the housing main body in a cantilever manner, that extends toward the insertion port side along the axial direction, and that engages the terminal housed in the housing space part; and a regulating contact part that comes into contact with the lance and that regulates excessive displacement of the lance toward the housing space part side.

Connector and wire harness

A shielded connector includes a shielding shell, a connector housing, and an annular sealing member. The shielding shell has a tube portion and a flange portion formed at an end of the tube portion. The flange portion is fastened to a wall portion having a hole of a target object to which the shielded connector is fastened. The connector housing is covered with the tube portion and has an end portion projecting in an axial direction beyond the flange portion and inserted in the hole. The sealing member is sandwiched between the flange portion and the wall portion. The sealing member closely contacts with the wall portion by being compressed toward the wall portion and closely contacts with an outer surface of the connector housing by being compressed toward the outer surface.

Shielded connector

Provided are a holding structure that holds connectors in a completely fitted state by a first locking holding portion and a second locking holding portion, and an ensuring member. A locking holder includes a locking release operation portion, a cantilever locking arm portion, and a fulcrum portion. A release operation force receiving portion is provided to the ensuring member, and is disposed at such a position that the release operation force receiving portion is not in contact with the fulcrum portion when the locking release operation portion is operated by being pushed while the ensuring member is at the main locking position, and the release operation force receiving portion is in contact with the fulcrum portion when the locking release operation portion is operated by being pushed while the ensuring member is at the temporary locking position.

Fitting connector

In a fitting connector, a latch hold body includes a first fulcrum portion provided on a latch-release arm portion and exerting force in a detaching direction from a second latch hold portion on a first latch hold portion with a contact point with a first release-operation force receiving portion as a fulcrum when a latch-release operation portion is pushed, and a second fulcrum portion provided on the latch-release operation portion side relative to the first fulcrum portion in the latch-release arm portion and exerting the force in the detaching direction from the second latch hold portion on the first latch hold portion with a contact point with a second release-operation force receiving portion that contacted along with continuation of push operation as a new fulcrum.

A device direct-mounting shield connector configured to be installed in an opening section in a metal casing, includes a nonconductive connector housing and a metal shield shell. The connector housing has a cylindrical hood section which includes a terminal housing section. The metal shield shell is installed in the connector housing and covers a circumference of the terminal housing section. The shield shell integrally has an exposed section and a fastening section. The exposed section is configured to contact to a shield shell of the mating connector when the mating connector is fitted with the connector housing. The fastening section has a through hole at a rear end side of the connector housing. The shield shell is fastened to the casing by passing a bolt into the through hole and a bolt hole in the casing and by tightening the bolt.

Device direct-mounting shield connector

A shield connector includes a braided conductor through which an electric wire is inserted; a shield shell formed in a tubular shape that has conductivity; and a ring formed in a tubular shape in which a pressing surface that faces the shield shell in an axial direction of the shield shell is formed on an inner surface side over an entire periphery. The pressing surface is inclined in a direction intersecting with the axial direction on a section in the axial direction. The ring is fixed to the shield shell while maintaining a state in which the pressing surface presses the braided conductor against the shield shell in the axial direction over the entire periphery.

Shield connector

An attachment structure for directly attaching a shield connector to an opening formed in a metal casing is provided. A shield connector for directly mounting on a device is attached to an opening formed in a metal casing. A connector housing is fastened to the casing with bolts from outside the casing. The opening of the metal casing has a diameter-enlarged portion formed in an end portion of the opening in an outside direction of the casing to be enlarged toward the outside direction. The shield shell has a contact piece at an end portion of the shield shell, and the contact piece is housed in and contacts with the diameter-enlarged portion in a state that the shield connector is attached to the opening.

Attachment structure of shield connector for directly mounting on device

A fitting connector includes: a first connector; a second connector; a detection member that is relatively movable to a main locking position with respect to a housing when the housings are completely fitted to each other and is locked to the housing at the main locking position; and first and second holding structures which keep the completely fitted state, in which the first holding structure includes a first locking holder for the housing with a locking portion and a second locking holder provided in the counterpart housing and entering the locking portion to regulate the relative movement between the housings in the completely fitted state, in which the second locking holder includes a protrusion portion entering the locking portion and a flexible portion capable of moving the protrusion portion in a direction opposite to the insertion direction toward the locking portion while being bent.

A female connector includes a female terminal, an inner housing which holds the female terminal, an outer housing relatively movable to the inner housing, tubular first shield shell integrated with the inner housing, and an elastic member which generates a resilient force. The male connector includes a male terminal, a housing which holds the male terminal, and the tubular second shield shell integrated with the housing. First shield shell abuts against the second shield shell on the connector insertion direction side with insertion of the connectors and is pressed against the second shield shell by the resilient force of the elastic member.

Female and male connectors

A connector includes a female terminal; a female housing; a shield shell which is formed in a tubular conductive material in which both ends are opened, the shield shell being integrated with the female housing in a state in which at least one of an outer circumferential side and an inner circumferential side of an end portion on an insertion direction side to the male connector is exposed as an annular exposed surface, and the female terminal and/or the electric wire being disposed inside the shield shell; and a sealing member which has a tubular sealing portion interposed between the male housing of the fitted male connector or the shield shell and the exposed surface as a seal side exposed surface opposed to the male housing or the shield shell, and suppresses entry of liquid therebetween by the sealing member.
