A system, method, and computer program product are provided for configuration based coexistence routing. In operation, a coexistence router system receives data from one or more systems during a coexistence period of a data migration process where information is in process of being migrated from one or more migration source systems to one or more migration target systems. The coexistence router system identifies one or more routing keys included with the data capable of being used to determine whether the data is associated with the one or more migration target systems or the one or more migration source systems. The coexistence router system queries a migration master database to determine whether the data is associated with the one or more migration target systems or the one or more migration source systems, based on the one or more routing keys. Furthermore, the coexistence router system routes the data to the one or more migration target systems or the one or more migration source systems based on the determination of whether the data is associated with the one or more migration target systems or the one or more migration source systems.

A computer-implemented system may include a data store to store business data, an application platform, and a business application. The application platform may include a repository to store metadata defining a plurality of business objects, each of the business objects comprising a respective model of data and associated logic, each business object associated with respective business object entities, and a framework in communication with the repository to provide access to the business data. The business application is to access the data via the framework and based on the metadata, wherein the metadata associates a first plurality of the business object entities with a RELEASED release status code, and wherein the metadata associates a second plurality of the business object entities with a DEPRECATED release status code.

A computer-implemented method for counting stock stored in hierarchical levels at a facility is described. The method includes receiving count initiation information at a counting module. The count initiation information includes at least one parameter associated with stock to be counted and one or more hierarchical levels for the stock to be counted. The method also includes receiving quantity information associated with the one or more hierarchical levels, and generating count results based on the received quantity information. In certain embodiments, the quantity information can be received by multiple count activity objects associated with the counting module. Each count activity object can independently track separate portions of the quantity information.

In a first general aspect, a method comprises a computer program product tangibly embodied in an information carrier, the computer program product including instructions that, when executed, perform operations for configuring a logistic unit for planning and processing in a logistic environment. The method may comprise accessing a template database object that may be compatible with a modeled logistic environment process, and receiving a user assignment of defined attributes for the accessed template object. The defined attributes may describe a feature common to multiple different physical receptacles used to contain stock in a logistic environment or a feature common to contents of the receptacles. The generated logistic unit may be based on the template database object and the defined attributes, wherein the logistic unit is assignable to a stock item to define how the stock item is to be handled in the modeled logistic environment process.
