The device may determine a first wake-up frame to be sent on a first WUR operating channel, wherein the first WUR operating channel is associated with one or more frequency division multiple access (FDMA) channels used for transmitting one or more wake-up frames to the one or more station devices. The device may determine to apply padding to the first wake-up frame based on a field included in a header of the first wake-up frame. The device may cause to send the first wake-up frame to a first station device of the one or more station devices.

Wake up receiver frame

A device may determine a wake up receiver (WUR) wake-up frame to be sent to a first station device of one or more station devices. The device may determine one or more indications associated with the first station device, wherein the one or more indications indicate to the first station device, one or more actions to be taken by the first station device after waking up a primary connectivity radio (PCR) of the first station device. The device may cause a medium access control (MAC) layer to encode the WUR wake-up frame with the one or more indications associated with the first station device. A device may determine a wake-up frame comprising one or more fields, wherein the one or more fields indicate an action to be taken on a receiving device. The device may determine an identifier to be indicated in the wake-up frame. The device may determine a size of the identifier. The device may cause to compress the identifier forming a compressed output, wherein the identifier is compressed by applying a cyclic redundancy code (CRC) computation. The device may identify a portion of the compressed output. The device may cause to send the wake-up frame to a receiving device, wherein the wake-up frame comprises the portion of the compressed output based on the size of the identifier.

Service set compression

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to wake-up radio (WUR) advertisement channels. A device may include a wake-up receiver (WURx) and a primary connectivity radio. The device may determine a wake-up radio (WUR) discovery subchannel for WUR advertisement. The WUR discovery subchannel may be associated with a channel of a frequency band. The device may generate a WUR discovery frame comprising a WUR advertisement. The device may transmit, by the WURx, the WUR discovery frame to a second device using the WUR discovery subchannel. For example, an apparatus may include logic and circuitry configured to cause a wireless communication station to transmit a power save mode indication to an Access Point (AP) over a first wireless communication channel; to wait over the first wireless communication channel for a waiting period subsequent to transmission of the power save mode indication; to switch to a second wireless communication channel after the waiting period; and to adjust a duration of the waiting period based on reception of one or more frames from the AP during the waiting period.

For example, an apparatus configured to cause a first Wake-Up Radio (WUR) wireless communication station (STA) to exchange a request frame and a response frame with a second WUR STA to set up a plurality of WUR parameters of a WUR mode at which the first WUR STA is to transmit one or more WUR wake-up frames configured for reception by a Wake-Up Receiver (WURx) of the second WUR STA, wherein the request frame is from the second WUR STA to the first WUR STA, and the response frame is from the first WUR STA to the second WUR STA in response to the request frame; to transmit an unsolicited update frame to the second WUR STA to update one or more WUR parameters of the plurality of WUR parameters; and to receive an Acknowledgement (Ack) frame from the second WUR STA to acknowledge the unsolicited update frame.

Apparatus, system and method of a wake-up radio (WUR)

A device may identify a first frame received from a first station device, wherein the first frame comprises a first transition delay field, wherein the first transition delay field comprises a first transition delay value associated with a power state transition. The device may determine a wake up receiver (WUR) frame comprising an indication for waking up the main radio of the first station device. The device may cause to send the WUR frame to the first station device based on the first transition delay value.
