The invention is a skin puncturing apparatus for use in a non-surgical method for eradication of a tattoo from an area of skin. The apparatus comprises: (a) a handle section comprising a motor and gear assembly for causing a reciprocating motion to a shaft connected to the gear assembly; (b) a barrel section surrounding the shaft, the first end of the barrel section attached to the handle and the second end of the barrel section having a tip adapted to be placed in contact with the area of skin; (c) a bundle of needles attached by means of a needles holder to the distal end of the shaft; and (d) an inlet body comprising an inlet port through which cleaning solution is introduced into the tip located at the lower edge of the barrel section.

Skin puncturing apparatus for use in a non-surgical method for eradication of tattoos

An apparatus for measuring the dimensions of human feet is comprised of a base and a cover, which fits over it to define the borders of two essentially rectangular wells into which the feet to be measured are placed. A pressure pad assembly comprising a matrix of sensors is placed at the bottom of base. The walls of the wells are defined by PCBS comprising arrays comprised of a multitude of emitter/detector pairs, which are used to make length and width measurements of said feet. MCUs on the pressure pad assembly and computation means comprise software algorithms that automatically make length, width, and pressure measurements and correct errors in the length and width measurements caused by misalignment of the feet in the wells. Methods of using the apparatus are also presented.

Foot measuring device

The invention is a non-surgical method for the eradication of pigmentation and scar tissue from an area of skin. The method comprises repeatedly puncturing the area of skin with an array of needles. As the needles are inserted into the skin, the needles and surface of the skin are washed with a clean solution. As the needles are withdrawn from the skin, the flow of clean solution ceases and the dirty solution, which contains cellular fluids and pigments released by the action of the needles, is removed from the surface. The invention is also a solution, which is used to clean the needles and to aid in destroying the pigment containing cells, and an apparatus, which is especially designed to move the needles into and out of the surface of the skin and to provide synchronization of the motion of the needles and flow of the solution such as to maximize the effectiveness of the method.

Eradication of pigmentation and scar tissue

An apparatus for measuring the dimensions of pairs of human feet and a method for carrying out the measurements using the apparatus is described. The device is based on two light emitter/detector pairs. The emitter/detector pairs are caused to move in mutually orthogonal directions in order to measure the length of the longest foot and the width of each foot in the pair of feet being measured.
