A reel holder includes a first reel holder member including a first frame member and a first ring member a second reel holder member including a second frame member and a second ring member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with the first frame member such that the first ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the first frame member, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with the second frame member such that the second ring member is configured to be rotatable relative to the second frame member. The first ring member is configured to be coupled with a first flange of a reel, and the second ring member is configured to be coupled with a second flange of reel. The first ring member is configured to rotate relative to the first frame member when the reel is rotated, the second ring member is configured to rotate relative to the second frame when the reel is rotated. The first ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the first flange of the reel, a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support an inner surface of a hub of the reel, the second ring member includes protrusions configured to extend through the second flange of the reel, and a radially outer surface of each of the protrusions is configured to support the inner surface of the hub.

An optical fiber feed-through connector for optically coupling an end portion of an optical fiber cable with a non-feed-through optical fiber connector includes a feed-through duct engaging portion having a body member and a compression fitting portion configured to radially compress a portion of the body member around the free end portion of the duct and a feed-through housing portion configured to be operatively coupled to the feed-through duct engaging portion so as to allow the end portion of the optical fiber cable to be slidingly fed through the feed-through housing portion. The feed-through engaging portion is configured to permit the end portion of the optical fiber cable to be slidingly fed through both the duct and the feed-through duct engaging portion, and the feed-through duct engaging portion and the feed-through housing portion are configured to permit the optical fiber cable to be pushed or pulled through the duct and the feed-through housing portion after the feed-through duct engaging portion is operatively coupled to the feed-through housing portion.

The blank includes a middle region extending from the first end to the second end between a first fold line and a second fold line, a first side extending from the first end to the second end and including a plurality of first flaps extending from the first fold line in a direction away from the second side in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a second side extending from the first end to the second end and including a plurality of second flaps extending from the second fold line in a direction away from the first side in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The blank is configured to be rolled into a cylindrical shape such that the first end overlaps the second end. The plurality of first flaps are configured to be folded radially inward relative to the cylindrical blank, and the plurality of second flaps are configured to be folded radially inward relative to the cylindrical blank.

A coaxial cable connector includes a nut housing having a rearward cable receiving end and a forward end opposite said rearward end, a front nut assembly coupled to the forward end of the nut housing, and a conductive metal tubular insert shaft supported within the nut housing or the front nut assembly. The front nut assembly includes an entry body housing and a conductive terminal pin extending from a forward end of the front nut assembly, and the conductive metal tubular insert shaft has a rearward end portion. A nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve has a forward end portion coupled with the rearward end portion of the conductive metal tubular insert shaft, a tubular gripping ferrule radially surrounds the metal insert shaft and the plastic support sleeve, and a tubular outer sleeve radially surrounds at least a portion of said gripping ferrule. The gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to be moved relative to one another in an axial direction such that the gripping ferrule and the tubular outer sleeve are configured to engage one another, thereby causing the gripping ferrule to radially compress around the conductive metal tubular insert shaft and the nonconductive plastic tubular support sleeve.

A cable network system for bidirectionally communicating signals at an enhanced duplex frequency range, which may be between about 5 MHz and about 650 MHz. This system may include a first amplifier, which may be configured to condition an upstream signal proceeding from a subscriber premises to a headend, without necessarily conditioning a downstream signal proceeding from the headend to the subscriber premises, a second amplifier, which may be configured to condition the downstream signal without necessarily conditioning the upstream signal, and a shaping circuit, which may condition the upstream and downstream signals. A modular RF apparatus includes an RF portal and an RF expansion module configured to be coupled with the RF portal. The modular RF apparatus is configured to expand the number of outputs of the RF portal by adding the RF expansion module in a manner that minimizes an increase in the spatial footprint of the modular RF apparatus while allowing easy access to all ports of the modular RF apparatus. The RF portal and the RF expansion module are configured to interlock to create an integrated functional block. The modular RF apparatus are configured to permit upgrading of the RF portal by adding the RF expansion module without disrupting existing connections to the RF portal.

The ferrule has an end face at which the optical fiber is terminated, and the ferrule holder includes a base in which the ferrule is configured to be seated. The sub-assembly includes a ferrule basket including an inner sleeve slidably coupled with an outer sleeve and configured to isolate a front end of the connector from a rear end of the connector such that the ferrule is isolated from movement of the rear end of the connector. The ferrule basket is configured to receive the ferrule holder therein.
