An aircraft includes a wing and a leading-edge aerodynamic surface coupled to the wing. An actuator is disposed within the wing and coupled to the leading-edge aerodynamic surface via a linkage system. Two or more hinge systems are coupled to the leading-edge aerodynamic surface and configured to rotate about a fixed axis internal to the wing to move the leading-edge aerodynamic surface between a retracted position and a drooped position.

Aircraft system operational testing

A method includes obtaining a first test matrix for a first aircraft system and a second test matrix for a second aircraft system. The method also includes, during a first operational test of the first test matrix, obtaining sensor data that includes second sensor data that is not specified by the first test matrix. The method includes evaluating a second operational test of the second test matrix by processing the second sensor data using a second analytic model of the second aircraft system. The method also includes generating second predicted sensor data based on the evaluation of the second operational test. The method includes generating a second error measure by comparing a second subset of the sensor data to the second predicted sensor data. The method includes determining, based at least in part on a range of the second sensor data, a test coverage metric of the second test matrix.

A method and apparatus for handling a server request received at a data server. The data server comprises a policy request handler. The policy request handler is activated within the data server in response to the server request being received at the data server. The policy request handler is configured to receive a plurality of asynchronous data streams. The policy request handler is further configured to merge data points in the plurality of asynchronous data streams together to form time-ordered data points. The policy request handler is further configured to form policy-based data according to a server policy identified in the server request using the time-ordered data points.

Server system for providing current data and past data to clients

A method and apparatus for monitoring an aircraft. A pilot control input signal is received. A response of a control surface system controlled by a flight control model is identified using the pilot control input signal. An alert is generated when the control surface system reaches a threshold with respect to the control surface system becoming saturated.
