A chatbot server that provides an instant messaging service using a relay chatbot linked to multiple chatbots includes a receiving unit that receives, from a messenger server, a question message relevant to a service selected from multiple services and service account information corresponding to the selected service; a derivation unit that derives an answer to the question message using the relay chatbot corresponding to the service account information; and a transmission unit that transmits the answer to the messenger server, wherein the relay chatbot relays a user device to the multiple chatbots linked to the relay chatbot to derive the answer through at least one of the multiple chatbots.

A chatbot server that provides an instant messaging service using a virtual chatbot linked to multiple real chatbots includes a receiving unit that receives, from a messenger server, a question message relevant to a service selected from multiple services by a user device and service account information corresponding to the selected service; a derivation unit that derives an answer to the question message using the virtual chatbot corresponding to the service account information; and a transmission unit that transmits the answer to the messenger server, wherein the virtual chatbot transfers the question message to a selected real chatbot of the multiple real chatbots linked to the virtual chatbot, and the selected real chatbot derives the answer to the question message and transfers the answer to the virtual chatbot.

Providing instant messaging service

A method for providing semi-automatic communication using a chatbot and a consultant device includes receiving, from a messenger server, a message input to an instant messaging application of a user device; determining a reliability for an automatic answer message made by the chatbot to answer the message; and transmitting the automatic answer message to the user device through the messenger server if the reliability is determined higher than a predetermined level, or enabling the consultant device to transmit a manual answer to the message if the reliability is determined lower than the predetermined level. The reliability is calculated based on a result of analysis for the message.

A method for providing a bot builder user interface by a bot builder user interface providing apparatus includes providing a developer device with a bot builder user interface (UI) for producing a chatbot; if at least one sentence is input from the developer device, providing multiple parameters including attribute information regarding respective words included in the at least one sentence; and receiving, from the developer device, grouping information regarding two or more parameters selected from the multiple parameters, wherein the chatbot produced by the developer device is accessible by a user device connecting with a chatbot service server, and if at least one of the two or more grouped parameters is extracted from a sentence of a chat message input by the user device, the chatbot executes a predetermined instruction with reference to the extracted parameter.
