A display device includes first and second electrodes, a first insulating layer on the first and second electrodes, light emitting elements on the first and second electrodes, a bank layer on the first insulating layer and including an opening, a contact electrode layer on the light emitting elements and the bank layer and including a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode spaced apart from each other on the light emitting elements, an intermediate layer on the contact electrode layer and including a first pattern portion on the first contact electrode and a second pattern portion spaced apart from the first pattern portion and on the second contact electrode, and a connection electrode layer on the intermediate layer and including a first connection electrode on the first pattern portion and a second connection electrode spaced apart from the first connection electrode and on the second pattern portion.

Display device and method for fabricating the same

A pixel includes a first pattern and a second pattern spaced apart from each other in a light emitting area; a light emitting element between the first pattern and the second pattern; a first electrode electrically connected to a first end portion of the light emitting element; a second electrode electrically connected to a second end portion of the light emitting element; and a bank in a non-light emitting area. The first electrode and the second electrode extend from the light emitting area through the non-light emitting area to a separating area. The second pattern extends from the light emitting area through the non-light emitting area to the separating area, and overlaps an edge of the bank, and is disposed in an area between the first electrode and the second electrode at a boundary of the non-light emitting area and the separating area.

Pixel and display device including the same

A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a non-display area adjacent to the display area, a plurality of pixels being located in the display area, a driver located in the non-display area, a data line electrically connected to the driver to transmit a data signal to each of the plurality of pixels, a first driving voltage line and a second driving voltage line in the non-display area, and an antistatic portion in the non-display area and connected between the data line and the first driving voltage line. The display area further includes at least one first area electrically connected to one side of the driver and at least one second area electrically connected to another side of the driver. In addition, the non-display area includes a first non-display area corresponding to the first area and a second non-display area corresponding to the second area.

A display device includes pixels disposed on a base layer, each of the pixels including electrodes and a light emitting element disposed on the electrodes, and scan lines that supply a scan signal to the pixels. The pixels include a first pixel and a second pixel disposed adjacent to the first pixel. The scan lines include a first pixel scan line that supplies a first scan signal to the first pixel, and a second pixel scan line that supplies a second scan signal to the second pixel. The electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode, which are spaced from each other. The second pixel scan line is electrically connected to a second electrode of the first pixel.

Display device and manufacturing method for the same

A display device comprises a first substrate including a first contact hole, fan-out lines included in a first metal layer on the first substrate, first and second pad parts exposed to a lower portion of the first substrate, a display layer disposed on the fan-out lines, and a flexible film disposed below the first substrate, inserted into the first contact hole, and electrically connected to the first and second pad parts. The fan-out lines comprise first fan-out lines extending from the first contact hole in a first direction, and second fan-out lines extending from the first contact hole in a direction opposite to the first direction. The first fan-out lines and the first pad parts are integral with each other. The second fan-out lines and the second pad parts are integral with each other.

Display device and tiled display device including the same

A display device includes a first electrode and a second electrode extending in a first direction and spaced apart from each other in a second direction, a first insulating layer disposed on the first electrode and the second electrode, a bank layer disposed on the first insulating layer and comprising an outer bank part extending in the first direction and the second direction and inner bank parts extending in the first direction in an area surrounded by the outer bank part, a second insulating layer disposed on the inner bank parts and the first insulating layer, and light emitting elements disposed on the second insulating layer between the inner bank parts, wherein each of the inner bank parts is connected to a part of the outer bank part extending in the second direction.

A display device includes a pixel including a first sub-pixel emitting light of a first color and a second sub-pixel emitting light of a second color. Each of the first sub-pixel and the second sub-pixel includes: a pixel circuit layer disposed on a substrate, the pixel circuit layer including a pixel circuit, and a display element layer disposed on the pixel circuit layer, the display element layer including a light emitting element which includes an anode electrode and a cathode electrode. The pixel circuit layer includes a first contact part disposed between the substrate and the display element layer, the anode electrode and the pixel circuit being connected to each other through the first contact part to supply an anode signal to the light emitting element. A display device includes a first electrode extended in a first direction, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode in a second direction and extended in the first direction, a first insulating layer on the first and second electrodes, light-emitting elements on the first insulating layer, each having at least an end disposed on the first electrode or the second electrode, a second insulating layer disposed on the light-emitting elements and extended in the first direction, and a first connection electrode disposed on the first electrode and electrically contacting the light-emitting elements, a second connection electrode disposed on the second electrode and electrically contacting the light-emitting elements. A display device may include a pixel. The pixel may include: an emission area, a non-emission area, and a split area spaced from the emission area with the non-emission area interposed therebetween; a first pattern and a second pattern spaced from each other in a first direction, and each extending in a second direction; a first light emitting element aligned between the first and second patterns; a first electrode connected to a first end of the first light emitting element; a second electrode connected to a second end of the first light emitting element; a bank located in the non-emission area and defining the emission area and the split area; and an insulating pattern located between the first and second electrodes and overlapping the first light emitting element. Only two of the first pattern, the bank, and the insulating pattern may overlap each other.

A display device includes pixels including subpixels, electrodes spaced apart from each other in a first direction, extending in a second direction, and disposed in the subpixels, light emitting elements in the subpixels and on the electrodes, and contact electrodes electrically contacting the light emitting elements and the electrodes. The subpixels each includes an emission area including the light emitting elements, and a sub area spaced apart from the emission area. The pixels each includes a first subpixel including a first emission area and a sub area on a first side of the first emission area, and a second subpixel which is disposed on a first side of the first subpixel and includes a second emission area and a sub area disposed on a second side of the second emission area. A display device includes pixels disposed in a display area and including first and second pixels that are adjacent to each other in a first direction, and a first integrated bank pattern disposed between the first and second pixels. Each of the pixels includes a first electrode and a second electrode that are spaced apart from each other along the first direction in a light emitting area and extend in a second direction, a first bank pattern portion overlapping the first electrode, and a second bank pattern portion overlapping the second electrode. The first integrated bank pattern includes a second bank pattern portion disposed at the first pixel, a first bank pattern portion disposed at the second pixel, and a protrusion extending in the second direction in a boundary area between the first pixel and the second pixel.

A display device may include a substrate including pixels; a first bank that defines an emission area of the pixels; a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from each other in the emission area; a first insulating layer disposed on the first electrode and the second electrode; light emitting elements disposed on the first insulating layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; a second insulating layer disposed on the first bank; a first opening passing through the first insulating layer; and a second opening passing through the second insulating layer. The first opening and the second opening may overlap the first bank.

A display device includes subpixels comprising a plurality of first type subpixels and a plurality of second type subpixels, a plurality of electrodes, each comprising an electrode stem portion and at least one electrode protrusion portion, a plurality of light emitting elements having a shape of extending in one direction and disposed on the electrode stem portion of the one electrode and the electrode protrusion portion of the other electrode, and a plurality of first contact electrodes contacting a first end of the light emitting elements and a plurality of second contact electrodes contacting a second end of the light emitting elements, wherein the light emitting elements comprise first type light emitting elements and second type light emitting elements, and the first ends of the first type light emitting elements and the second type light emitting elements face in opposite directions.

A display device comprises a pixel which comprises emission areas, a first voltage wiring and a second voltage wiring, which are outside the emission areas of the pixel and extend in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction, first electrodes and second electrodes which are respectively in the emission areas and extend in one direction, light emitting elements which are on the first and second electrodes, first contact electrodes which contact the first electrodes and the light emitting elements, and second contact electrodes which contact the second electrodes and the light emitting elements, and a first electrode line which overlaps the first voltage wiring and is outside the emission areas and a second electrode line which overlaps the second voltage wiring and is outside the emission areas, wherein each of the first electrodes and the first electrode line is electrically connected to the first voltage wiring, and each of the second electrodes and the second electrode line is electrically connected to the second voltage wiring.
