A surgical drape is configured for covering a patient and an ultrasonography probe during surgical treatment of the patient. The surgical drape may comprise a first portion that comprises a canopy portion. The canopy portion can be sized and shaped to at least partially cover a mechanical arm coupled to the ultrasonography probe and a proximal portion of the ultrasonography probe, and the canopy portion can be configured to move with the proximal portion of the ultrasonography probe when the ultrasonography probe is supported by the mechanical arm. A second portion can be coupled to the first portion, in which the second portion is sized and shaped to cover at least a portion of a torso of the patient.

A system for determining a position or an orientation of a probe across a drape may include a fiducial assembly that may be coupled to the probe though a drape. The fiducial assembly may include a base, a coupling attached to the base which may be configured to couple the fiducial assembly to the probe across the drape, and one or more fiducials attached to the base. Coupling the fiducials to the probe across the drape can allow sterile fiducials to be coupled to a non-sterile probe to determine the position and orientation of the probe based on images from the of the fiducials on a sterile side of the drape. In some embodiments, the fiducial is aligned with respect to an elongate axis of the probe with a predetermined offset and orientation with respect to the elongate axis of the probe.

Disclosed herein are improved methods and apparatuses for providing hemostasis within a cavity defined by an internal surface of a bleeding tissue space. A catheter comprising a proximal end and a distal end may be advanced into the cavity through a proximal opening of the tissue space into the cavity. A distal balloon coupled to the catheter may be expanded, and the catheter tensioned to apply pressure to the internal surface of the tissue space to inhibit bleeding of the tissue space.

Disclosed herein are improved methods and apparatuses for providing hemostasis within a cavity defined by an internal surface of a bleeding tissue space. A catheter comprising a proximal end and a distal end may be advanced into the cavity through a proximal opening of the tissue space into the cavity. A distal balloon coupled to the catheter may be positioned adjacent a distal opening of the tissue space, and expanded to seal the distal opening. A hemostatic agent may be applied from the catheter to the internal surface of the tissue space to inhibit bleeding of the tissue space. The hemostatic agent may be applied without occluding the proximal opening, the distal opening, and a path extending therebetween with the hemostatic agent.
