An approach for streaming audio feeds independently from visual feeds is provided. The approach includes processing programming information associated with one or more first devices proximate a user to determine one or more programs presented by the one or more first devices. The approach also includes presenting a user interface to the user for selecting from among the one or more programs. In addition, the approach includes determining an input from the user for selecting at least one of the one or more programs. The approach further includes streaming an audio feed of the at least one of the one or more programs to a second device associated with the user.

System and method for streaming audio of a visual feed

A policy enforcer device may determine a value of multiple controls included on a control device. The multiple controls may be associated with zones of a facility. The policy enforcer device may determine, based on the values of the plurality of controls, relative amounts of bandwidth to allocate, of a total amount of available bandwidth, to the zones of the facility; and control one or more network devices to provide the determined amounts of bandwidth to the zones of the facility.

A content sharing device may receive, from a content providing device, information that identifies content to be shared with a dongle device via a content sharing service. The content sharing device may receive, from the content providing device, information that identifies a contact with which the content is to be shared. The content sharing device may determine, based on the information that identifies the contact, a dongle device identifier. The dongle device identifier may include a network address associated with the dongle device. The content sharing device may provide, to the dongle device and based on determining the dongle device identifier, information that identifies the content. The information that identifies the content may cause the content to be accessible by a content receiving device connected to the dongle device.

A method, performed by a computer device, may include receiving a request to set up motion detection for a camera. The method may include generating a selection grid for a field of view associated with the camera, wherein the selection grid includes a plurality of grid elements; selecting one or more grid elements of the plurality of grid elements; and configuring motion detection for a video feed from the camera based on the selected one or more grid elements.

A server device may receive images of a vehicle from one or more camera devices implemented as part of a home monitoring or home control system and identify, based on the images, an anomaly associated with the vehicle. The approach also includes receiving an input via the interface for specifying a service associated with the illumination device, wherein the service employs at least one of the illumination module, the networking module, and the short range wireless communication module. Method and apparatus for providing services via a modular smart illumination device

A device is configured to capture an image of a monitoring device display, perform optical character recognition to identify alphanumeric data in the image, apply a device profile to map each identified alphanumeric datum to a parameter associated with the monitoring device; and store each datum along with its associated parameter.
