Methods, devices, and systems for airfield luminaire vibration monitoring are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a computing device comprising a memory and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory to receive a vibration signal from a sensor on an airfield luminaire, compare the vibration signal from the sensor to a vibration profile for the airfield luminaire, and determine a status of a bolt of the airfield luminaire based on the comparison.

In some examples, one or more embodiments include a bi-directional switch, an inductor to store energy in response to the bi-directional switch being on, and an output capacitor to discharge power to an LED, where the bi-directional switch can switch off to cause the inductor to discharge to the output capacitor in response to a voltage across the output capacitor being less than a threshold voltage.

For example, one or more embodiments include a power converter configured to receive a signal from an alternating current (AC) mains, where the power converter includes a number of bi-directional switches, a transformer configured to isolate the AC signal from an airfield ground lighting circuit, and a rectifier configured to convert the signal from the AC mains from AC to direct current (DC), an inverter configured to convert the DC signal from the power converter and convert the DC to AC, an output filter configured to receive the AC signal from the inverter and send the AC signal to the airfield ground lighting circuit, and a controller configured to switch the number of bi-directional switches of the power converter to allow an input voltage and current of the signal from the AC mains to be in phase.
