A document management system performs optical character recognition (OCR) on a high resolution version of an image of a document, obtaining a first set of text representative of the text of the document. The document management system applies a machine-learned model on a low-resolution version of the image of the document, producing a denoised image that is of a higher resolution than that input into the machine-learned model. The document management system performs OCR on the denoised image, obtaining a second set of text representative of the text of the document. The document management system compares the first and second sets of text in the form of an objective loss function. The document management system subsequently generates a feature vector from the comparison of the sets of text and retrains the machine-learned model with the generated feature vector.

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for generating and modifying a workflow comprising a series of webpages based on an online document. A document management system accesses an online document selected by a user and classifies each field of the online document into one of a set of categories. For each category, the system generates a form webpage comprising questions corresponding to each field classified as the category and combines the generated webpages to create a workflow. The system may modify the workflow by generating and adding one or more additional form webpages based on one or more answers provided by an entity completing the webform page. In response to the entity completing the modified generated workflow, the system generates a completed document based on the online document and the answers provided by the entity.

Guided form generation in a document management system

A bulk data distribution system in which, instead of multiple data consumers contending to access the same data sets from a primary data store, one or more producers capture snapshots (states of the data sets at particular points in time) and upload the snapshots to an intermediate data store for access by snapshot consumers. The snapshot consumers may download the snapshots to generate local versions of the data sets for access by one or more data processing applications or processes. A snapshot producer may periodically generate full snapshots of a data set, and may generate one or more incremental snapshots of the data set between full snapshots. A snapshot consumer may bootstrap a local data set from a full snapshot and one or more incrementals, and may maintain state of the local data set by accessing new snapshots uploaded by the producer.

Bulk data distribution system

This disclosure is directed to controlling operation of a deployed device to selectively initiate different operational modes, which may include an employee mode, a customer mode, and/or a secure mode. While operating in the employee mode and/or customer mode, the deployed device may enable some access to information specified for the respective user while restricting some nonessential information. While operating in the secure mode, the device may restrict access to at least some information, at least temporarily. In some embodiments, the secure mode may require credentials, a decryption key, and/or other security information to enable continued use of the deployed device by the employee or possibly by the customer. The selection of the operational mode may be based at least in part on a deviation of the device's location from a predetermined route.
