A method for alleviating the consequences of a collision of a vehicle, having a front axle and/or a rear axle with at least one roll stabilization device with which torques can be applied in the region of the front axle and/or the rear axle for the purpose of roll stabilization. In order to alleviate the consequences of collisions of vehicles, in the event of a collision protective torques are generated using the roll stabilization devices.

Method and system for alleviating the consequences of a collision

A vehicle body arrangement for a vehicle front part () has at least a first load path plane (). The vehicle front part () has at least two longitudinal carriers () and at least two transverse elements () that connect the longitudinal carriers (). At least the rear transverse element (), as viewed in the driving direction, is configured as a crossmember, as viewed in the load direction. The rear transverse element () is adjoined by an assembly carrier () with a motor vehicle assembly (). The motor vehicle assembly () has at least one assembly longitudinal carrier ().

Vehicle body arrangement for a vehicle front part

An adjusting device () is provided for a vehicle subassembly to be adjusted. The adjusting device has an adjusting motor which, via an adjusting mechanism, drives a toothed rocker () assigned to the vehicle subassembly to be adjusted. The adjusting mechanism structurally reinforces the vehicle subassembly to be adjusted, and an adjusting worm () of the structurally reinforcing adjusting mechanism acts directly on the toothed rocker ().
