A method and system for managing and providing emergency access to one or more secured resources including a replacement mobile phone, credit card, and cash. The embodiments provide a system that authenticates users based on presentation of a pre-registered tracking device. Authentication can be performed by a physical kiosk stationed in a building or outside. In one example, the system can read the identifier data provided by the tracking device and trigger an automated dispensing of the secured resource. In the case where a new mobile phone is provided to the user, a personalization process can be implemented in which the new phone is automatically pre-configured for the user's individual experience by importing the user's stored personalization data and preferences.

Authentication systems and methods for emergency resource provisioning

A leak detection system includes a leak detection sensor assembly configured to be positioned on or within a component of a building. The leak detection sensor assembly includes multiple electrical conductors, an output device, and a fluid-absorber in contact with the multiple electrical conductors and the output device. The multiple electrical conductors, the output device, and the fluid-absorber are configured to define a closed electrical circuit with fluid present at the fluid-absorber and are configured to define an open electrical circuit without the fluid present at the fluid-absorber.

Leak detection systems and methods

A smart fastener system includes a smart fastener configured to couple two components of a structure to one another, wherein the smart fastener includes one or more sensors that are configured to monitor one or more parameters. The smart fastener system also includes one or more processors configured to receive signals indicative of the one or more parameters, assess damage to the structure based on the one or more parameters, and provide a notification that indicates the damage to the structure in response to determining a presence of the damage to the structure.

Smart fastener systems and methods

A system and method for alerting a driver of a motor vehicle or a person walking along a road or hiking on a trail of potentially dangerous hazards in their path. Hazards may be deep water, ice, oil slicks or other hazards. In the case of a motor vehicle, the system uses cameras mounted on or within the vehicle to detect potential hazards and then analyzes the images combined with the known topography of the location to evaluate the ability of the vehicle to safely traverse the hazard. In the case of a person walking or hiking, the person may use the camera on a personal mobile device to capture images of the hazard and to combine the images with the known topography at the location to evaluate the danger presented by the hazard.
