A system may include one or more detectors configured to generate detector data based on signals received from one or more tags integrated in or disposed on one or more items. The system may include a processor configured to: receive the detector data; determine a first set of identification information corresponding to a first item of the one or more items based on the detector data; receive a list of tagged items for a first location, and the list of tagged items comprises a second set of identification information corresponding to the one or more items; identify a theft incident for the first item based on a comparison of the first and second sets of identification information; automatically send a notification relating to the theft incident to one or more devices; and determine one or more insurance policy decisions for the first item based on the theft incident.

Systems and methods for continuously monitoring items

The embodiments provide a system and method for filtering out smoke and/or toxic gases/fumes from air in a building. The system integrates various smart devices with an HVAC system along with a controlling software application that can change the state of the smart devices, thereby controlling the types and quantities of air moving through the HVAC system at any time. In particular, the system can adjust the openings of one or more smart registers to control how much air passes in and out of the HVAC system over a given period of time. The system can also adjust the opening of a smart intake vent to control how much fresh (outside) air passes into the system over a given period of time. The system can also adjust the opening of a smart furnace valve that is disposed within the furnace.

Smart air filtration system and method of use

A system and method for generating simulations of a vehicular accidents and detecting inconsistencies between different sources of data for the accidents are disclosed. The system obtains reports and other data describing the accident and processes the information for use by a keyword model. The keyword model is configured to detect terms in the data that are more likely to provide insight into the accident. The keywords are provided to a generative engine that is configured to generate a simulation of the accident based on visual elements corresponding to the keywords. In some cases, the simulation may include an animated video and/or a 3D model of the accident. Individual simulations may be generated for each source of data obtained. The simulations can then be compared to detect potential inconsistencies.

Method and system for virtual reconstruction of accidents

A computing system acquires a plurality of gig-income models for a plurality of gig-workers, and each of the plurality of gig-income models includes a corresponding expected income for a respective gig-worker of the plurality of gig-workers over a period of time. The computing system identifies groups of gig-workers to join an income float pool based on the gig-income models of the gig-workers. The computing system transfers funds into or out from an account associated with a gig-worker in the income float pool in response to detecting, from one or more data sources, a difference between an actual income and an expected income of the gig-worker during an additional period of time. Thus, the gig-worker receives a relatively stable income.

Magnetic stripe cards including a skimmer detection mechanism detect unauthorized access to data and information stored on a magnetic strip of a magnetic stripe card by illicit card skimming devices. In one embodiment, a method of detecting an unauthorized scan of confidential data encoded on a magnetic strip portion of a magnetic stripe card having a skimmer detection mechanism includes detecting a scan of the magnetic strip portion, measuring a parameter associated with the scan of the magnetic strip portion by the skimmer detection mechanism, and comparing the measured parameter to a baseline value associated with the parameter. Upon determining that the parameter exceeds the baseline value, an unauthorized scan of confidential data encoded on the magnetic strip portion of the magnetic stripe card is detected.

Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to providing in-person audio access for remote users. A remote access audio system can detect in-person audio through an array of microphones installed at a site. The remote access audio system can process the in-person audio using speech recognition techniques to determine that an in-person conversation is occurring. The remote access audio system can apply a model to the in-person conversation to determine whether the conversation is relevant to a remote user and transmit an option for the remote user to remotely join or be added to the conversation.

The present disclosure is related to a smart irrigation system that includes a first sensor configured to monitor a moisture level at a location and a second sensor configured to monitor a contamination level within a fluid. The smart irrigation system also includes one or more processors configured to receive a first signal from the first sensor, receive a second signal from the second sensor, and route the fluid to the location in response to the first signal indicating that the moisture level is below a moisture threshold and the second signal indicating that the contamination level is below a contamination threshold.
