The disclosure relates to a processing installation for aircraft structural components having a processing station comprising a clamping frame, wherein the clamping frame extends along a station longitudinal axis, and a processing unit which has a first upper tool unit having an upper tool which is orientated along a first tool axis and a lower tool unit having a lower tool which is orientated along a second tool axis, wherein the first tool axis and the second tool axis can be orientated parallel with a vertical direction which is angled with respect to the longitudinal direction, and wherein in at least one processing position of the upper tool of the first upper tool unit and in at least one processing position of the lower tool of the lower tool unit the first tool axis and the second tool axis are orientated coaxially relative to each other.

The disclosure relates to a processing station for aircraft structural components, having a gantry processing machine, a clamping frame for fastening at least one component, and a holding device assembly for receiving the clamping frame, wherein the gantry processing machine has a gantry and the gantry supports a processing tool which defines a processing point, wherein the processing tool is configured so as to be pivotable in relation to the gantry, and wherein the processing tool for displacing the processing point is height adjustable in the z direction in relation to the gantry, wherein the holding device assembly has at least two holding devices, and wherein at least one holding device has a drive for the height adjustment, and the clamping frame is height-adjustable in the z direction by means of the holding device.

The disclosure relates to a processing installation for aircraft structural components having a processing station comprising a clamping frame for receiving the structural component, wherein the clamping frame extends along a station longitudinal axis which extends in a longitudinal direction and a processing unit which has an upper tool unit having an upper tool and a lower tool unit, wherein the processing installation has a processing region which is formed by a laterally delimited, first spatial portion in which the clamping frame and the processing unit are arranged during processing, wherein the processing installation has a service region for carrying out service operations, wherein the first spatial portion is separated from the second spatial portion in a transverse direction, wherein a service platform is arranged in the service region and can be positioned in a service plane which is orthogonal to the vertical direction.

Machining system for aircraft structural components

The disclosure relates to a processing installation for aircraft structural components having at least one processing station, wherein the processing station has a clamping frame which extends along a longitudinal station axis for receiving the aircraft structural component which is intended to be processed in each case and a processing unit, such as a riveting unit, for processing the aircraft structural component and wherein the clamping frame is articulated so as to be adjustable in terms of height and pivotable to two positioning towers which are arranged in a vertical tower plane. It is proposed that there be provided transversely relative to the tower plane a transverse offset of the clamping frame which enables an aircraft structural component to be loaded onto and/or unloaded from the clamping frame along the tower plane and at least one positioning tower to be passed laterally.
