A motor vehicle has a vehicle interior compartment and variable vehicle structures, by way of which the vehicle interior compartment can be modified. In order to improve the comfort in an autonomous driving mode, the vehicle interior compartment is enlarged in an autonomous driving mode.

Motor vehicle

A motor vehicle has an internal combustion engine and at least one electric motor as a drive motor arranged on a common shaft. The internal combustion engine and/or the electric motor can introduce torque into a transmission downstream in the drivetrain, and a separating clutch is provided between the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. The method increases torque of the electric machine, increasing the rotational speed of the electric machine and setting slip conditions at a clutch of the downstream transmission, engaging the separating clutch to a torque between the reserve torque of the electric motor and the maximum transmissible torque, reducing the transmissible torque of the separating clutch when the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine has reached the ignition rotational speed, ending the slip conditions of the at least one clutch of the downstream transmission, ending the increase of the torque of the electric motor.

Engine starting method

A method is provided for adapting the torque that can be transmitted by a clutch of a motor vehicle that has an internal combustion engine and an electric motor for driving. A pressure medium activation device is driven by an actuator and has a pressure medium link between a master cylinder and a slave cylinder for activating the clutch. An adaptation of the torque that can be transmitted by the clutch takes place in a disengaged clutch position and a change in the actuator position a given pressure of the pressure medium activation device is used to adapt the actuator position or the clutch characteristic curve.

Method for adapting a clutch

A component housing in a motor-vehicle drive train is sealed by pressurization of the housing interior. The component is a hybrid module () comprising at least one electric machine provided between the combustion engine (VM) and the gearing (G) of the motor-vehicle drive train. The pressurization is achieved by a rotating component (R, RA, M, F) of the hybrid module. The rotating component is designed in a manner similar to an impeller of a centrifugal pump. Therefore, rotation of the component builds up a positive pressure (P) on the radially outer region of the rotating component in the region of the housing (GE) in the interior of the hybrid module.

A method is employed for starting an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle drive which is driven by an electric motor. A speed of the internal combustion engine is adjusted to a target speed. The internal combustion engine speed exceeds the target speed over a predefined time by a predetermined speed differential.

Method and apparatus for starting an internal combustion engine in a hybrid vehicle drive

A drivetrain () for a parallel hybrid vehicle has an internal combustion engine (), an electric machine () and a transmission (). The engine () and the electric machine () interact with a common input shaft () of the transmission (). At least one axle of the vehicle can be driven by the internal combustion engine () and/or the electric machine () via an output shaft () of the transmission (). A clutch () is between the internal combustion engine () and electric machine () and can open to decouple the internal combustion engine () from the input shaft () of the transmission (). The clutch () has a first element () for positive locking connection of the electric machine () to the internal combustion engine () and a second element () for frictional locking connection of the electric machine () to the internal combustion engine ().

Drivetrain for a parallel hybrid vehicle

A drive system includes at least two drive devices, at least one of which is electric, that drive at least two drive axles, a power electronics system, an energy storage arrangement, and a control device. The control device includes a drive control module for providing a recuperation limiting value for each electric drive, a recuperation control module for combining the recuperation limiting values to form a maximum recuperation total limiting value, and a brake control module for providing a total braking torque requested by a driver or assistance system, such that it derives a recuperation total torque that is less than the recuperation total limiting value and also derives recuperation partial torques for each electric drive. In the case of a total braking torque that is greater than the recuperation total limiting value, the brake control module generates a hydraulic brake pressure and transmits it to the brake system.

Drive system for a motor vehicle and method for operating such a drive system

A vehicle has an internal combustion engine, an electric drive device and a transmission with two component transmissions that can be selected simultaneously. Torque can be transmitted from the electric drive device and/or the internal combustion engine to at least one axle of the vehicle, and a torque can be transmitted from the axle to the electric drive device and/or the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is adjusted from a deactivated state to an energized state. Torque is transmitted to the internal combustion engine by the axle and/or the electric drive device via one of two shifting elements to increase rotational speed of the internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is adjusted to a target rotational speed via one of the shifting elements. The connection between the internal combustion engine and the axle is produced via one of the shifting elements upon reaching the target rotational speed.

Method for operating a drive system for a motor vehicle

A method and a device control a hybrid vehicle drive. The device contains a multiplicity of control parameter sets having different recovery torques for a conversion control device which sets a recovery torque of the electric motor in an overrun phase, which recovery torques are assigned a respective driving mode indicator. A definition device is provided for defining a current driving mode indicator, as a result of which a control parameter set corresponding to the defined current driving mode indicator can be used to control the conversion control device in an overrun phase of the hybrid vehicle drive.

A device and method for heating a positive crankcase ventilation system in a hybrid vehicle includes a ventilation device, provided on a crankcase, and a supercooling cycle for cooling power electronics for an electric motor of the hybrid vehicle. A method is provided for starting a piston engine of a hybrid drive in an electric travel state. The hybrid drive includes at least the piston engine, an electric motor, a transmission, and a clutch situated between the piston engine and the electric motor. A converter lockup clutch, which is switchable into a slip state, is also provided. A slip is set at the converter lockup clutch, and a speed of the electric motor is then increased. The speed and the torque either do not change or only change in a predefined range at the output side of the converter lockup clutch. The clutch is closed to transmit a torque pulse, so that a first top dead center of the piston of the piston engine may be overcome. A predefined slip is then set at the clutch.

Method for starting a piston engine and hybrid drive for performing the method

A method and a device for controlling a hybrid vehicle drive. The device contains a multiplicity of control parameter sets with different set point charge states for a high performance battery of the electric motor. The set point charge states are assigned to a respective operating mode of the vehicle. A definition device for defining a current operating mode of the vehicle, as a result of which a control parameter set which corresponds to the defined current operating mode of the vehicle can be used to control a charge mode of the high performance battery of the electric motor with a corresponding set point charge state.

Method and device for controlling a hybrid vehicle drive

A hybrid vehicle with an internal-combustion engine and an electric motor has a tank ventilation system that includes a fuel tank and a suction pipe leading from a filtering device, which can be regenerated, to the intake path of the internal-combustion engine. A control device is configured to actuate different valve devices for flushing the filtering device, so that ambient air can be fed to the internal-combustion engine through the filtering device and the suction pipe. In addition, the control device is configured such that, during purely electric operation of the hybrid vehicle, it connects the internal-combustion engine as a function of the loading condition of the filtering device or of the flushing gas concentration.

Hybrid vehicle

A drivetrain of a motor vehicle has an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, a transmission, and a torque converter with a converter bypass clutch. The drivetrain is controlled such that, during an electric operating mode in which the internal combustion engine is deactivated and the electric motor is activated, and/or during a recuperation operating mode in which the internal combustion engine is deactivated and the electric motor is operated as a generator, the converter bypass clutch is permanently closed, at least between shift processes of the transmission, in order to bypass the torque converter.
