An example of a device for generating a broadband frequency signal comprises a first controlled oscillator, a second controlled oscillator, a phase-locked loop for feeding back an output signal of a controlled oscillator to the corresponding controlled oscillator, and a mixer. The mixer is configured to generate the broadband frequency signal by mixing an output signal of the first controlled oscillator and an output signal of the second controlled oscillator. The device may, for example, be realized by means of a single phase-locked loop. A further example relates to a device for generating a frequency signal with a controlled oscillator and a phase-locked loop with a further controlled oscillator and a mixer in the feedback path of the phase-locked loop. Examples further relate to a high-frequency device for emitting a high-frequency signal and a method for generating a broadband frequency signal.

An electronic oscillator of a circuit arrangement for creating microwave oscillations with two transistors as amplifier elements and with a resonator (), wherein the resonator has two emitter impedance networks, the base impedance network and/or an emitter impedance network or both emitter impedance networks can be put out of tune and the transistors each have a parasitic base collector capacitance. The repercussion of the load on the electronic oscillator ('load-pulling') is greatly reduced so as to be eliminated as much as possible, in that a compensation capacitance is switched between the collector of the first transistor and the base of the second transistor as well as between the collector of the second transistor and the base of the first transistor, and the compensation capacitances are implemented by reverse-biased pn-junctions.

Circuit arrangement for creating microwave oscillations

A level measuring system which operates according to the radar principle for measuring the level of a medium which is located in a vessel has a signal transmission apparatus for emission of an electromagnetic signal, an electronic apparatus which generates an electromagnetic signal, and a pressure-tight and/or diffusion-tight separating element. The electronic apparatus is made in several parts, one of which is a signal generating component. The signal generating component and another component of the electronic apparatus are made as independent units which are spatially separated from one another. There is a communication apparatus between the signal generating component and the other component, and there is a pressure-tight and/or diffusion-tight separating element between the other component and the signal transmission apparatus.

Level measuring system operating according to the radar principle

A circuit arrangement for generation of radio frequency output signals which form a broadband frequency ramp, with a reference oscillator, a phase detector, a loop filter, a VC oscillator for generating the output signals, a frequency divider, a step-down mixer and a local oscillator for generating a local oscillator signal. The reference oscillator, the phase detector, the loop filter, the VC oscillator, the frequency divider and the step-down mixer belong to a phase-locking loop. The frequency divider and the step-down mixer are in the feedback path of the phase-locking loop. The step-down mixer mixes the output signals and the local oscillator signal. The frequency of the output signal is adjustable by varying the division ratio of the frequency divider. Characteristics of the output signal are improved using the adjustable frequency of the local oscillator signal.

Circuit arrangement for generation of radio frequency output signals which form a broadband frequency ramp

A dielectric antenna having an at least partially dielectric body and an electrically conductive sheath, wherein the dielectric body can be struck on a supply section with electromagnetic radiation and the electromagnetic radiation can be at least partially emitted from the dielectric body via a lens-shaped radiation section. The conductive sheath essentially surrounds the dielectric body from the supply section to the radiation section and a supply opening is provided in the conductive sheath in the area of the supply section and a radiation opening is provided in the conductive sheath in the area of the radiation section. The dielectric antenna that is easy to produce, has little interference and has a short construction as a result of the dielectric antenna having essentially the cross section of the radiation opening in the area of the supply section.
