Described herein are processes for producing cold-flexible polyurethane insulation, in which (a) polyisocyanates are mixed with (b) compounds having groups which are reactive to isocyanates, (c) blowing agents, (d) catalysts, (e) plasticizers and optionally (f) further additives to give a reaction mixture and the mixture is applied to a surface and cured to form insulation. Also described herein is a polyurethane insulation obtainable by a process described herein.

Cold flexible polyurethane formulation

The present invention relates to a process for the production of composite elements comprising a first and a second outer layer, a vacuum insulation panel between the two outer layers, rigid polyurethane foam in contact with the first outer layer and the underside of the vacuum insulation panel, and also rigid polyurethane foam in contact with the second outer layer and the upper side of the vacuum insulation panel, comprising application of a reaction mixture (R1) for the production of a rigid polyurethane foam onto the first outer layer, bringing the lower side of a vacuum insulation panel into contact with the unhardened reaction mixture (R1), application of a reaction mixture (R2) for the production of a rigid polyurethane foam to the upper side of the vacuum insulation panel, bringing the second outer layer into contact with the layer of the unhardened reaction mixture (R2), and finally hardening of the two rigid polyurethane foam systems (R1) and (R2) to give the composite element. The present invention further relates to composite elements thus obtainable, and also to the use of a composite element of the invention or of a composite element obtainable by a process of the invention, as component for refrigeration equipment or as construction material.

The present invention relates to foamed polyurethane obtainable by mixing a) polyisocyanates, b) relatively high molecular weight compounds having groups reactive toward isocyanate groups, c) solid particles, d) blowing agents, e) if appropriate, chain extender, crosslinking agent or mixtures thereof, f) if appropriate, catalyst and g) if appropriate, other additives to give a reaction mixture and allowing the reaction mixture to react to completion, the propotion of chain extender being less than 6% by weight, based on the total weight of the components a) to f), the content of solid particles being greater than 15% by weight, based on the total weight of the components a) to f), and the average functionality of the relatively high molecular weight compounds having groups reactive toward isocyanate groups being less 2.5. The present invention furthermore relates to a molding comprising a foamed polyurethane according to the invention, a process for the preparation of the foamed polyurethane according to the invention and the use of a molding according to the invention as a shoe sole.

Coarse-cell polyurethane elastomers

Disclosed are electret materials with outstanding thermal and charge stability. The electret materials comprise a melt blend of a thermoplastic polymer and one or more compounds selected from the aromatic trisamides. The aromatic trisamides are for example of the formula The melt blends are subjected to an electret treatment, for example a corona treatment. The electret materials are for example nonwoven polyolefin webs and are employed as filter materials, wipes, absorbent materials, filter masks, acoustic materials, printing substrates, measuring devices or contactless switches. The present electret materials may also comprise a further additive selected from the hindered amine light stabilizers and the hydroxyphenylalkylphosphonic esters or monoesters.
