A data generating device for use with a coin mechanism of a bulk vending machine, is provided. In all of the embodiments, the invention uses a standard coin mechanism of a bulk vending machine, which in its normal operation is received into an opening in the bulk vending machine, and a data generating device in working relation with the coin mechanism. The data generating device, will be able to receive, store and generate various types of information relevant to owners/operators of bulk vending machines, including but not limited to, day and/or time of particular vends, particular machine from which the vend took place, particular location/owner/operator of machine from which each vend originated, and the identity of the person collecting the money from the machine, while also allowing for the multiple hook-up of numerous data generating devices positioned on numerous machines found in one location so as to achieve a report on all vends from all machines.

Data generating device for bulk vending machines

A coin counter is provided for push-pull coin vending machines, arcade machines and pay-per-use appliances. The counter comprises a bracket assembly having first and second chambers. The first chamber for receiving, processing and expelling a coin, and the second chamber having a switch assembly which is interactive with the coins moving through the first chamber by means of an actuator arm so as to register counts on a connected numeric display. The counter further comprises a stop which receives the weight of the coins processed through the machine and also redirects the coins, allowing the actuator arm to rotate in a reduced arc than the prior art.

Data generating device for push pull coin mechanism for vending and arcade machines and appliances

A dispensing adapter for connecting pressurized containers to other valved systems such as automobile air conditioners is provided. The housing has a dispensing end, a receiving end, and fluid flow channel communicating between the dispensing end and the receiving end. The receiving end sealingly engages a first valve of a pressurized container, and the dispensing end sealingly engages a second valve such as a service port of an automobile air conditioner. When the dispensing end is attached to the service port, the core depressor opens the service port. A button, when depressed, pushes down and thus opens the valve on the pressurized container. The housing may be angled or straight.

Pressurized container adapter for charging automotive systems

A dispensing adapter for connecting pressurized containers to other valved systems such as automobile air conditioners is provided. The housing has a dispensing end, a receiving end, and an interior volume communicating between the dispensing end and the receiving end. The receiving end sealingly engages a first valve of a pressurized container, and the dispensing end sealingly engages a second valve such as a service port of an automobile air conditioner. A reciprocatable core depressor is disposed inside the housing. When dispensing end is attached to the service port, the core depressor is moved toward the receiving end of the housing, and the proximal end of the core depressor engages a stem of the first valve and opens the first valve. The housing maybe angled or straight, and the core depressor may have a piercing pin to open puncture valve containers.

The data generating device has a contact switch assembly,, comprising a first pair of spaced-apart wires,at a first location of the switch assembly, the first pair of wires connected to a data compilation/transfer device,by a lead wire,and to a capacitor by another lead wire,, a second pair of spaced-apart wires,at a second location of the switch assembly, the second pair of wires connected at least to the capacitor by yet another lead wire,, a selectively rotatable element,having a metal strip,attached thereto, the metal strip able to connect both of the wires of both of the first and second pairs of the spaced-apart wires at separate and distinct positions during the selective rotation of the selectively rotatable element, wherein the shaft causes the selectively rotatable element to rotate bringing the metal strip first in contact with the first pair of spaced-apart wires and then in contact with the second pair of spaced-apart wires, thereby causing the compilation of data.

An improved bulk vending machine coin mechanism and counter combination is provided. The counter/combination has a coin mechanism designed to be partially received into an opening in the bulk vending machine, the coin mechanism comprising a selectively rotatable shaft extending axially therefrom, a coin counter attached to a portion of said coin mechanism within the opening of the bulk vending machine, the counter comprising a numeric display and a contact switch assembly, comprising a first pair of spaced-apart wires at a first location of the switch assembly, the first pair of wires connected to the numeric display by a lead wire and to a capacitor by another lead wire, a second pair of spaced-apart wires at a second location of the switch assembly, the second pair of wires connected at least to the capacitor by yet another lead wire, a selectively rotatable element having a metal strip attached thereto, the metal strip able to connect both of the wires of both of the first and second pairs of said spaced-apart wires at separate and distinct positions during the selective rotation of the selectively rotatable element, wherein the shaft causes the selectively rotatable element to rotate bringing the metal strip first in contact with the first pair of spaced-apart wires and then in contact with the second pair of spaced-apart wires, thereby causing the counter to advance one sequential count.

An improved bulk vending machine coin mechanism and counter combination is provided. The combination coin mechanism and coin counter comprises a coin mechanism designed to be partially received into an opening in a bulk vending machine, having a selectively rotatable cam. The coin counter is attached to a portion of the coin mechanism inside of the bulk vending machine, and has a numeric display and a pivotally mounted switch connected to the display by at least one lead. A portion of the switch is in contact with the cam, which, due to its eccentric shape, causes the switch to pivot upon the rotation of the cam, causing the numeric display to advance one number for each full rotation of the cam.

Combination coin mechanism and coin counter for bulk vending machines

An improved bulk vending machine coin mechanism and counter combination is provided. In all of the embodiments, the combination coin mechanism and counter comprises a coin mechanism designed to be partially received into an opening in a bulk vending machine, having a selectively rotatable cam having an eccentrically shaped portion. All of the coin counters are attached to a portion of the coin mechanism inside of the bulk vending machine, and each has a numeric display. A first embodiment has a pivotally mounted switch connected to the numeric display. A second embodiment has a reed-switch connected to the display and a pivotally mounted magnet arm, in place of the pivotal switch. A third embodiment has a reed-switch, and a fourth embodiment has an inductive coil, mounted on the bracket so as to bring the rotation of the eccentric portion of the cam proximate to the reed-switch and/or inductive coil. In the first and second embodiments, the rotation of the cam causes the eccentric portion thereof to contact and pivot the switch (first embodiment) and the magnet arm (second embodiment), causing the numeric display to advance one number for each full rotation of the cam. In the third and fourth embodiments, the eccentric portion of the cam has attached thereto a magnet and a piece of metal, respectively, whereby the rotation of the cam causes the eccentric portion thereof to bring the magnet/metal piece proximate to the reed-switch/inductive coil, causing the numeric display to advance one number for each full rotation of the cam.
