A tamping assembly for tamping sleepers of a track has a tamping unit with tamping tools. The tamping tools are located opposite one another, are mounted on a height-adjustable tool support, and, by way of drives, can be caused to vibrate and can be fed relative to each other. Each tamping tool includes a pivot lever, which can be rotated about a feed axis, and an inner and an outer tamping pick retainer. Each tamping pick retainer can be laterally pivoted relative to the pivot lever. The outer tamping pick retainer can be pivoted about a first pivot axis and the inner tamping pick retainer can be pivoted about a second pivot axis. The second pivot axis is arranged at an offset to the first pivot axis. Thus, it is no longer necessary to adjacently arrange elements for pivoting the tamping pick retainers.

Tamping unit for tamping sleepers of a track

The invention relates to a machine for stabilizing a track, including a machine frame supported on on-track undercarriages and a vertically adjustable stabilizing unit designed to roll on rails of the track by means of unit rollers, the stabilizing unit comprising a vibration exciter with rotating imbalance masses for generating an impact force (F) acting dynamically in a track plane perpendicularly to a track longitudinal direction and a vertical drive for generating a vertical load acting on the track. In this, it is provided that the vibration exciter comprises at least two imbalance masses which are driven applying a variably adjustable phase shift (Δφ, Δφ). The invention further relates to a method for operating such a machine.

Machine for stabilizing a track

A tamping unit for tamping sleepers of a track includes a lowerable tool carrier and oppositely positioned tamping tools. Each tamping tool is connected via a pivot arm to a squeezing drive for producing a squeezing motion and to an electric vibration drive for producing a vibratory motion. The electric vibration drive includes an eccentric shaft which, together with a rotor of an electric motor, is mounted merely in an eccenter housing. A stator of the electric motor with a motor housing is flange-mounted to the eccenter housing. As a result of the omission of a separate motor mounting, the motor housing has a particularly small overall depth.

A work vehicle for maintenance of an electrical catenary includes a vehicle frame supported on on-track undercarriages and a vehicle superstructure situated on the vehicle frame. A first grounding device is disposed at a first vehicle end relative to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A crane having a vertically and transversely adjustable work platform is disposed at an opposite, second vehicle end. A second grounding device is provided at the second vehicle end.
