A joint yoke () for a universal joint () has a first yoke arm () and a second yoke arm (). The first and second yoke arms () have at least two recesses (). The yoke arms () have, radially to the axis of rotation (X), an outer portion (A) and an inner portion (B) adjacent to the outer portion (A). The wall thickness (d) of the yoke arms (), in a radial direction to the bearing axis (Y) in a plane orthogonal to the axis of rotation (X) and through the joint center (M), is reduced in the outer portion relative to the inner portion (B).

Joint yoke for a universal joint and universal joint

A longitudinal displacement unit includes a first shaft element including an outer face having a plurality of first grooves and a second shaft element having a through-bore that receives the first shaft element. The second shaft element has a plurality of second grooves opposite the first plurality of grooves. A sleeve-shaped cage is disposed between the first shaft element and the second shaft element for guiding rolling contact members that engage the first plurality of grooves and the second plurality of grooves. The cage is provided with through-apertures that are circumferentially distributed, extend parallel to the longitudinal axis, and include longitudinal ends. Pressure springs are disposed within the through-apertures and are loaded between the longitudinal ends thereof. At least one stop is associated with one of the shaft elements, against which the pressure springs abut after having passed through a free displacement path of the cage between the two shaft elements, which free displacement path is not loaded by the pressure springs.

A universal joint yoke includes a yoke base and two yoke arms, each respectively having a through extending bearing bore, a circular arc groove having a center that is arranged on a bore axis or is off-set from the bore axis toward the yoke base, and at least one securing recess on the outer face. A separate securing element for each yoke arm has an engagement portion with an outer circumference that is adapted to the circular arc groove and engaging the same and at least one securing portion that projects from the securing element in the direction away from the center and that engages the at least one securing recess and that secures the securing element against rotation around the center. A securing device retains the securing elements on the universal joint yoke.

Fixation arrangement for bearing bushings on a universal joint yoke

A flange yoke for universal joints includes a first yoke half having a first flange plate and a first bearing portion, a second yoke half having a second flange plate and a second bearing portion, a first end face projecting from the bearing portions, a second end face formed by a first connection face of the first yoke half and a second connection face of the second yoke half, at least one step-like recess on the first yoke half, and at least one step-like projection formed complementary to the recess on the second yoke half. The first yoke half and the second yoke half are detachably connectable to each other by attachment screws. For this, the first yoke half has blind holes with internal threads that extend parallel to a longitudinal axis extending from the first clamping face. For each blind hole, a through bore is arranged in the second yoke half, wherein the attachment screws are passed through the through bores and are received in the blind holes.

Flange yoke

A flange yoke includes a base element having a flange plate. A first bearing portion, formed integrally with the flange plate and projecting from a first end face of the flange plate, has a first bearing bore. A first attachment face is provided on the first end face. A first abutment face extends from the first attachment face. A connection face is arranged on a second end face of the flange plate, with which the base element is detachably connectable to a mating flange. A bearing element having a flange portion has a second attachment face that abuts the first attachment faceand a second abutment face that abuts the first abutment face. The bearing element includes a second bearing portion having a second bearing bore and is detachably connected by attachment screws to the base element.

A flange yoke for universal joints includes a flange element having a longitudinal axis, two first attachment faces arranged on a first end face, and a connection face arranged on a second end face. The flange yoke also has two bearing elements having, respectively, a bearing bore, a second attachment face abutting one of the first attachment faces, and at least two blind holes with internal threads that extend parallel to the longitudinal axis and that start from the second attachment faces. To each blind hole, a through bore, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis, is arranged in the flange element. The through bores start from the connection face and end in one of the first attachment faces. The attachment screws are passed through the through bores and sit in the blind holes. By this, it is ensured, that the cross-sectional area of the bearing elements in a plane, formed by the journals of a journal cross, is not reduced by a bore and the highest possible torque capacity is achieved.
