A control system for a motor vehicle having a first control unit and having a first power electronics unit connected in a signal-transmitting manner to the first control unit for supplying power to a first actuator in normal operation of the control system. In order to ensure proper operation of a control system for a motor vehicle, even in the event of a fault, the control system has a backup control unit and a backup power electronics unit connected in a signal-transmitting manner to the backup control unit for supplying power to the first actuator in a first backup operation of the control system. The backup control unit is connected to the first control unit in a signal-transmitting manner. The control system is transferred from normal operation to the first backup operation as a function of the arrival in the backup control unit of a fault signal.

A control system for a motor vehicle having a first control unit for controlling a first function of the motor vehicle and a second control unit for controlling a second function of the motor vehicle. A control system for a motor vehicle, including a first control unit for controlling a first function of the motor vehicle, a second control unit for controlling a second function of the motor vehicle and a backup control unit. To ensure the proper execution of functions controlled of a motor vehicle controlled with the aid of control units even in the case of a defective control unit with preferably little additional effort, the backup control unit is configurable depending on the input of an error signal of the first or second control unit such that an actuator corresponding to the defective control unit is controllable with the aid of the backup control unit. A first backup power electronic module is assigned to the first actuator, and a second backup power electronic module is assigned to the second actuator.

A lighting device, capable of identifying and marking traffic areas of airports, comprises at least one semiconductor lamp and an electronic control circuit, which is connectable to an electrical AC supply network with constant current feed. For controlling the operation of the semiconductor lamp, the control circuit has a rectifier, which is connectable without a transformer to the electrical AC supply network. It further has an internal power supply, which is connected to the rectifier, for supplying the semiconductor lamp with an electric direct current. Furthermore, the voltage supply device () having electronic power factor correction means, by means of which voltage and current can be kept in phase in all operating states of the lighting device (). It furthermore re-adjusts the input voltage from the electrical AC supply network to allow the current predefined on the AC supply network to flow in the event of a small power demand of the electronic control circuit.

An electronic apparatus, process for its duplication, and arrangement for data transfer between two similarly constructed electronic apparatus is described in which the electronic apparatus has a microprocessor or microcontroller, a non-volatile memory, and an interface. The microprocessor or microcontroller, the non-volatile memory and other measures of the apparatus allow a data content of a certain memory component of a certain other apparatus to be simply transferred into the non-volatile memory. The apparatus thus has the ability to bequeath its data characteristics, or to duplicate itself. Further, a process is described for carrying out such a duplication. Assuming a second inventive electronic apparatus is built, a particular advantageous arrangement can be created in which a data record can be completely transferred from the memory of the first apparatus into the memory of the second apparatus.
