Described is a fibre composite component designed as a spring, comprising at least one spring section and at least one force transfer structure (). In the end portion forming or surrounding the force transfer element () the fibre composite material of the fibre composite component () is divided, in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the force transfer structure (), into at least two fibre composite material strands (). Two adjacent fibre composite strands () run in opposite directions, overlapping over a specific angular portion and each forming an eye, with their mutually opposed side faces () force-transmittingly connected in the overlapping portion.

The present invention relates to a plastic dowel for the fastening of a rail on a solid substrate. The plastic dowel includes an opening, an interior, a shank section, and a holding section, which provides at least one circumferential projection around its circumference. The at least one projection protrudes in a radial direction whereby the upper flank of the projection of the holding section assigned to the dowel opening is aligned at an angle of 90&#xb0;&#xb1;3&#xb0; in relation to a longitudinal axis of the plastic dowel.

A base plate includes a lateral support section and a lateral contact surface which delimits a supporting area formed on a top side of the base plate for a foot of a rail. A through-hole leading from the top side to the underside of the support section is formed into an edge area of the support section abutting the lateral contact surface. The through-hole has a basic shape which is angular in cross-section. The surface of the edge area meets with the contact surface in an upper marginal edge. A lateral surface of the through-hole assigned to the contact surface at least over a partial area of its height changes into an inclined surface which rises in the direction of the upper marginal edge of the contact surface and ends at the surface of the edge area.

The present invention relates to a rail clamp for attaching a rail S comprising a central portion, at least one torsional portionbranching off laterally from the central portion, at least one transitional portionadjoining the torsional portionand at least one retaining armwhich is connected to the transitional portionand on the free end of which an end portionis configured, by which the rail clamp is supported on the foot F of the rail S to be attached in each case during use, and relates to a system provided with a rail clamp of this type. The rail clamp and the system according to the invention are able, with a high endurance strength, to apply significant hold-down forces and at the same time to ensure that even during progressive wear of the rail attachment, adequately high hold-down forces continue to act on the rail. This is achieved according to the invention in that the retaining armis continuously curved at least in a curve portion which extends up to the free end of its end portionsuch that, seen in a plan view of the rail clamp, the end portionis directed towards the central portionand the longitudinal axis of the torsional portionassociated with the respective retaining arm

The invention relates to a system for fastening a rail to a sleeper with a baseplate, which includes at least one side portion and a bearing surface adjoining the side portion for the rail to be fastened, and with at least one guide plate that sits on the side portion. In order to simplify the installation on the respective sleeper in such a system, the invention provides that the guide plate is held on the baseplate by a catch connection formed in the region of the side portion.
