A die plate changing system holds first and second die plates and selectively transitions the first and second die plates into and out of communication with a material source. The die plate changing system has a frame having a body defining a first recess that receives the first die plate and a second recess that receives the second die plate, where the frame is heats the first and second die plates when the first and second die plates are disposed in the first and second recesses, respectively. The die plate changing system also includes a movement assembly operably coupled to the frame and that selectively moves the frame between a first position, where the first die plate receives material from the material source, and a second position, where the second die plate receives the material from the material source.

Die plate heating/changing system and method for changing plates in a pelletizer

The invention relates to a die assembly for a pelletizing apparatus, the die assembly having a pressure regulating device that has a base member, a flow channel, and an annular channel. The base member has a fluid inlet side and a fluid outlet side. The flow channel is formed in the base member to provide a fluid-conducting connection between the fluid inlet side and the fluid outlet side. The annular channel section is connected to the flow channel in a fluid-conducting manner and formed in the region of the fluid outlet side. The invention is characterized by a flow cross-section regulating element for influencing a flow cross-section of the annular channel section. The regulating element is movable relative to the annular channel section and/or the flow channel.

Die assembly with pressure regulating device, and a pelletizing apparatus

A nozzle arrangement for a granulator has a nozzle body with an inlet side as well as an outlet side, a nozzle plate with nozzle holes arranged on the outlet side for forming melt strands, and flow channels formed in the nozzle body and connected to the inlet side and the outlet side in a fluid-conducting manner for supplying a melt flow to a nozzle plate. An annular connection channel connects a plurality of flow channels in a fluid-conducting manner. A method for separating a melt flow into melt strands is also described.

Granulator, nozzle arrangement for a granulator, and relevant operating method

A separation device, such as a centrifugal dryer, for separating a mixture of a solid material and a fluid is described. The device has a housing having at least one housing inlet for supplying the mixture and at least one housing outlet for discharging the solid material or the fluid separated from the mixture. The device also has a rotor that is arranged within the housing and is mounted rotatably around a longitudinal axis. The rotor causes movement of the solid material in the direction of the longitudinal axis by rotating. The rotor has multiple rotor segments, which can be separated from each other.
