The disclosure concerns a process to perform a reaction of alkane transformation into olefins, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a stream of light alkane-comprising feedstock with one or more alkanes and one or more oxidants selected from COand/or COS; and providing at least one fluidized bed reactor comprising at least two electrodes and a bed comprising particles; (b) putting the particles of the bed in a fluidized state to obtain a fluidized bed; and (c) heating the fluidized bed to a temperature ranging from 600° C. to 1500° C. to conduct the reaction; the process is remarkable in that the step c) is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed; the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles, and in that, at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity ranging from 0.001 to 500 Ohm·cm at 800° C.

Process to conduct an alkane transformation into olefins in an electrified fluidized bed reactor

The present disclosure relates in its first aspect to a process of converting a stream comprising methane into chemicals, said process being remarkable in that it comprises the steps of providing a first stream () comprising methane, providing a second stream () which is a bromine-rich stream, putting into contact said first stream () with said second stream () to obtain a third stream () comprising at least unreacted methane, methyl bromide, dibromomethane, and hydrogen bromide and removing said dibromomethane from said third stream (), to produce a dibromomethane stream () and a fourth stream () comprising unreacted methane, methyl bromide and hydrogen bromide; wherein the fourth stream () is converted into chemicals. In its second aspect, the present disclosure concerns an installation for carrying out the process of the first aspect.

Gas to olefins processes with coproduction of hydrogen

Process to conduct endothermic direct pyrolysis of methane in a fluidized bed reactor

The invention relates to a process for treating an alcoholic feedstock, comprising: a) a stage of preheating of said alcoholic feedstock to a temperature of between 70° C. and 200° C.; b) a stage of pretreatment on an acidic solid, operating at a temperature of between 70° C. and 200° C., to produce a pretreated alcoholic feedstock; c) a stage of partial vaporization to produce a vaporized stream and a liquid stream; and d) a stage of purification of the liquid stream resulting from stage c), to give a stream rich in water, a stream rich in monoalcohol and a stream rich in impurities.

Method for treating an alcohol feedstock for the production of olefins

The disclosure relates to a process to perform a catalytic cracking reaction of hydrocarbons having at least four carbons, said process comprising the steps of providing a fluidized bed reactor comprising at least two electrodes and a bed comprising particles, wherein the particles are put in a fluidized state to obtain a fluidized bed; heating said bed to a temperature between 500° C. and 850° C. by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed to conduct the reaction. The process is remarkable in that the particles of the bed comprise electrically conductive particles and particles of a catalytic composition, wherein at least 10 wt. % of the particles are electrically conductive particles and have a resistivity from 0.001 to 500 Ohm.cm at 500° C. and in that the step of heating the fluidized bed is performed by passing an electric current through the fluidized bed.

Process to conduct an endothermic steam reforming reaction in a fluidized bed reactor

The present disclosure concerns a process for converting methyl halides to ethylene and propylene, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a feedstream comprising methyl halides; (b) providing a first and second catalyst composition, said second catalyst composition comprising a cracking catalyst; (c) contacting said feedstream with said first catalyst composition in a first reaction zone under first reaction conditions to provide a first product stream; and (d) subjecting at least a part of said first product stream to an Olefin Catalytic Cracking with said second catalyst composition in a second reaction zone under second reaction conditions to provide a second product steam. The process is remarkable in that said step (c) is performed under 400° C., and in that said first catalyst composition comprises molecular sieves with a Si/Al atomic between 2 and 18 and with a plurality of pores with a shape of an 8-membered ring or less.

Process to conduct an endothermic dehydrogenation and/or aromatisation reaction in a fluidized bed reactor

The present disclosure relates to a process for converting one or more methyl halides to acyclic C3-C6 olefins, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a feedstream comprising one or more methyl halides; (b) providing a catalyst composition; and (c) contacting said feedstream with said catalyst composition under reaction conditions. The process is remarkable in that said reaction conditions include a reaction temperature below 400&#xb0; C., and in that said catalyst composition comprises one or more molecular sieves with a Si/Al atomic ratio ranging from 2 to 18 and wherein said one or more molecular sieves comprise a plurality of pores, wherein said pores have a shape of an 8-membered ring or less.

The present disclosure relates to a novel staged-synthesis method for introduction of various metals in the structure of zeolite frameworks by isomorphous substitution. This new method is based on a hydrothermal synthesis in which the metal addition to the precursor suspensions (gel) is delayed. This so-called 'staged-synthesis method' allows to obtain nanosized silanol highly homo-geneous crystalline zeolite structures with a control of the metal location.
