Hand-held electrically powered work tool

A hand-held power tool may include a rotatable work tool with a center, a circumference and a direction of rotation. The power tool may further include a blade guard arrangement arranged to shield a variable part of the rotatable work tool which may include a blade guard and a swiveling cover part attached to the blade guard. In a first position, the swiveling cover part may be positioned such that a first portion of the circumference is covered, following the blade guard, and extending an angular distance after the blade guard, in the direction of rotation. The swiveling cover part may be moveable between the first position and a second position where a cutting operation of the rotatable work tool along the first portion of the circumference occurs. The cover part may be biased towards the first position.

Protection arrangement for a power tool

A cover () for concealing one or more components () of a power tool () presented herein. The cover () can include a through recess () between an inner surface () and an outer surface (). The through-recess () being arranged for receiving a threaded member () protruding from the tool () and extending between an inner opening () at the inner surface () and an outer opening () at the outer surface (). The present invention relates to a portable power tool () arranged for driving a rotatable cutting tool (). The power tool () comprises a motor () and a transmission part () that is arranged to transfer power from the motor () to a tool holder (), and comprises a first arm part (') and a second arm part (&#x2032;). The first arm part (&#x2032;) comprises a first belt pulley () and the second arm part comprises a second belt pulley (), the arm parts () being slidably connected to each other. The belt pulleys () are spaced apart by a certain distance (d-i, d). The transmission part () further comprises a tensioning device () with a rod (), a pre-tensioned resilient device (), a linkage arrangement () and a rotatable part (). The rotatable part () is rotatable between a first, released, state where the belt pulleys () are spaced apart by a first distance (d-i), and a second, tightened, state where the belt pulleys () are spaced apart by a second distance (d) that exceeds the first distance (d-i), the resilient device () being more compressed in the second state than in the first state.

Transmission belt adjustment for a power cutter

This invention relates to a flexible intake system for a crankcase scavenged two-stroke internal combustion engine () having an additional air supply to its transfer ducts. The intake system comprises a flexible intake duct () connecting a fuel supply unit () e.g. a carburetor with an engine cylinder () and at least one flexible air duct () connecting a valve housing () for additional air with the engine cylinder. The end portion of the flexible intake duct () and at least one air duct () is secured to the cylinder by means of a baffle () made of a stiffer material than the ducts () themselves.

Flexible intake system for a two-stroke internal combustion engine

A portable, hand-held, combustion engine powered working machine comprises a tool unit () including a rotatable working tool (), and a machine unit () including an internal combustion engine (), an assembly () for supplying air and fuel to the engine, and an air cleaning system, which comprises a filter assembly () including at least two filters (), referred to as pre-filter () and main filter (), for cleaning the air that shall be supplied to the engine. The pre-filter is accommodated in an upper filter chamber () between a top cover () and a pre-filter bottom (), and the main filter is accommodated in a lower filter chamber under the pre-filter bottom, said lower filter chamber being defined by the underside of the pre-filter bottom, a second filter bottom () at a distance from the pre-filter bottom, and a closed, circumferential wall () between the pre-filter bottom and the second filter bottom, said closed, circumferential wall forming a downwards directed protrusion on the underside of the upper filter bottom.

The cylinder bore () is inclined forwards in a direction towards the tool unit, such that the centre line () of the cylinder bore forms a tilt angle larger than zero, in the direction, to a perpendicular to any or both of the following lines: (a) a base line () which is a line coinciding with a horizontal surface on which the machine is resting in an upright position, when the supports on the underside of the machine unit contact the surface, and (b) a tangential line (') extending from a peripheral point of the tool, on the lower part of the tool when the machine has an upright position, to the bottom side of a rear support of the machine unit.
