The present disclosure is directed to a medical instrument. The medical instrument may include a delivery device and a retraction mechanism including a target tissue anchor and a first stabilizing anchor, wherein the target tissue anchor attaches to target tissue and connects to the delivery device.

Tissue retraction devices and related methods of use

Medical devices and methods of using medical devices are disclosed. An example tissue retraction device includes a first engagement member having a first end and a second end, a second engagement member having a first end and a second end, a first elastic member attached to the second end of the first engagement member, and a first alignment member having a first end, a second end and a lumen extending therethrough. Further, the tissue retraction device has a first length, the first alignment member has a second length, the first elastic member extends within the lumen of the first alignment member and the second length of the first alignment member is less than or equal to the first length of the tissue retraction device.

Tissue retraction device and delivery system

The present disclosure relates to the field of tissue dissection. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to medical devices which lift and retract tissue during a dissection procedure to improve visualization of the target tissue and mitigate obstruction of dissection tools. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a tissue retraction device which moves from a constrained to relaxed configuration to immobilize and retract the dissected portion of target tissue during a dissection procedure.

Tissue retraction device

A medical device includes a shaft including a lumen configured to direct a flow of fluid through the shaft and an electrode. A proximal end of the electrode and a distal end of the shaft form a coupling configured to releasably couple the proximal end of the electrode with the distal end of the shaft. When the proximal end of the electrode is coupled to the distal end of the shaft, fluid delivered through the lumen is emitted from the electrode.

Medical devices and related methods

A bypass device may include an elongate member extending from a proximal end toward a distal end, and a proximal opening and a distal opening coupled to one another by a lumen disposed through the elongate member. The bypass device also may include at least one port extending through a side surface of the elongate tubular member, wherein at least a portion of the bypass device may be bioabsorbable.

In one aspect of the present disclosure, a tissue retraction system may include a first anchor, a second anchor, and an elongate coupling member extending between the first anchor and the second anchor. The system also may include a holder for receiving the first anchor, the second anchor, and the elongate coupling element. The holder may include a proximal portion and a distal portion. The distal portion may have a smaller width than the proximal portion such that the distal portion exerts a force on a proximal end of the first anchor during deployment of the first anchor from the holder. The force may move the first anchor into an open configuration for receiving tissue.

Systems, devices, and related methods for retracting tissue

A tissue cutting device includes a flexible elongate body including a channel extending therethrough, a distal member connected to a distal end of the elongate body. The distal member includes a lumen extending therethrough in communication with the channel and a recess extending through an exterior surface of the distal member along a portion of a length thereof. The recess extends includes a receiving structure at a distal end thereof. A cutting element is slidably received within the channel and the lumen so that the cutting element is movable between an open tissue-receiving configuration and a closed tissue-gripping configuration, in which a distal portion of the cutting element extends across the recess such that the distal end of the cutting element is received within the receiving structure, a portion of a length of the distal portion extending radially beyond an exterior surface of the distal member.

Retractable tissue cutting device

A tissue retractor for attachment to an elongate member of a medical device. The tissue retractor includes a cap having a central longitudinal axis. The cap includes an attachment section adapted to attach to a distal end of the elongate member. The cap further includes a moveable component pivotally attached to the attachment section at one or more pivot points, and an actuator connected to the moveable component to transition the moveable component across the central longitudinal axis from an insertion state to an actuated state.
