A track clamp for coupling linear motion guide tracks with standard linear motion support bases without the use of fasteners comprises a clamp body having a plug portion and an outwardly-opening guide track-receiving channel, the plug portion having outwardly-extending deformable protrusions on its outer surfaces that, upon insertion of the plug portion into a selected slot of a support base, deform upon engagement with the slot thereby securing the plug portion in the slot, the track-receiving channel holding a linear motion guide track. In one embodiment upwardly-extending clamp arms formed in the plug portion by the guide track receiving channel deflect inwardly upon insertion of the plug portion into the selected slot thereby clamping the guide track in the channel.

A support base for securing a linear motion guide track in a defined location comprises an elongated support body having one or more receiving slots, each slot including inwardly extending deformable teeth-like protrusions that deform upon insertion of the guide track into the slot thereby firmly securing the guide track to the support base without the use of traditional fasteners.

A system for securing a linear motion guide track () to a support extrusion () comprises an elongated wedge () having a protrusion configured for insertion in a slit in one side of the well of the support extrusion for positioning the wedge in the well, the wedge having deformable teeth on a side opposite the protrusion such that insertion of the guide track in the well deforms the teeth of the wedge thereby securely holding the guide track in the support extrusion.

A valve having a valve body with an elongated opening therein and having a first end and a second end. A valve member is slidably disposed in the elongated opening. First, second and third ports are in fluid communication with the opening in the valve body at times. One of the first, second and third ports have a supply of fluid under pressure connected thereto. A first passage is disposed in the valve body and leads from the first port to the second end thereof. The actuator has a first side and a second side and is moveable between a first and a second position thereof for moving the valve member. A fluid passageway is disposed in the actuator body and leads from the first end of the actuator body to a position on the second side of said actuator and is adapted to be selectively connected in one of a first, second and third configuration at any one time to one of the first, second and third passages and is adapted to be connected to any one of the first, second and third passages of a user's choosing.

Valve with different configurations for different uses

A pneumatic pressure detector for use in an overheat or fire alarm system utilizes a known capillary type sensor tube which has absorbed in it a gas. Overheat or fire condition causes the gas to expand which then actuates an associated deformable diaphragm to close an electrical switch. To insure that the system pressure is maintained and no fault condition exists, the compact detector also uses a deformable diaphragm associated with an integrity switch which opens if the pressure falls below normal. Both of these diaphragms are juxtaposed to form the plenum to which the sensor tube is attached thereby saving weight and space.

Compact and lightweight pneumatic pressure detector for fire detection

A device for supporting drinking glasses or other small objects out of contact with beach sand or the earth at other outdoor locations has a ground engaging spike with a pointed lower end and a relatively broad upper end on which a plate member is disposed in a transverse and substantially centered relationship with the spike. Retainer structure holds the plate on the spike during use while enabling separation of the plate and spike when not in use. In a preferred form, the spike is itself formed of separable flat elements. The device may be easily disassembled and the components may be rearranged into a very compact configuration when the device is being carried between locations or being stored.
