The method includes: detecting, by an automated teller machine, a trigger event; in response to detecting the trigger event, determining a current configuration of at least one cassette loaded into the automated teller machine; automatically configuring one or more user interface settings of the automated teller machine based on the current configuration of the at least one cassette; and presenting a user interface based on the one or more user interface settings.
