A method for creating a pseudo-world that includes identifying a first pseudo-world file system, wherein the first pseudo-world file system includes a plurality of folders and a plurality of attribute files in a file system hierarchy, wherein the file system hierarchy defines a plurality of parent child relationships between the plurality of folders and the plurality of attribute files, and processing each of the plurality of folders according to the file system hierarchy. Processing a folder of the plurality of folders includes identifying at least one child attribute file of the plurality of attribute files comprised in the folder, wherein the folder and the at least one child attribute file are in a parent child relationship of the plurality of parent child relationships based on the at least one child attribute file comprised in the folder, identifying a parent cell in the pseudo-world, wherein the parent cell is defined by a parent attribute file corresponding to the folder, and generating, in the pseudo-world, a child cell within the parent cell for each of the at least one child attribute files based on the parent child relationship. The method may further include displaying the pseudo-world.

Method and system for defining a pseudo-world

A computer implemented method and system for filtering incoming electronic messages based on user objectives is disclosed. For example, automated assistance can be provided in realizing a user objective of filtering electronic mail (e-mail) messages associated with a 'conversation' thread. The electronic message filtering system can receive an e-mail message, examine attributes or characteristics of the e-mail message, determine if a rule has been established for messages with the characteristics of the incoming message, and if there has been a rule set up, automatically implement an action in accordance with the rule. For example, when electronic messages with particular information in the header (e.g., a particular subject) are received, the messages are automatically moved to a designated trash folder. Additionally, finer granularity of message management can be achieved (e.g., an action is automatically implemented to display a message from a particular sender at the top of a list).

Computer implemented system and method for predictive management of electronic messages

In one embodiment of the present invention, a voice control application transmits data to a voice server about a first execution state of an application program resident in the memory of an electronic device having a first graphical display. The voice control application also transmits an audio waveform encoding of a voice command defining a second execution state of the application program. The voice server performs a speech recognition process upon the audio waveform encoding and transmits a reply to the electronic device for causing the second execution state of the application program. The voice control program, in response to the response, automatically causes the second execution state of the application program having a second graphical display.

In a communication system, a delayed call dialing processing system and method are described. The delayed call dialing processing system includes logic that allows a caller wishing to call a callee to delegate the task of monitoring presence information to detect when the callee is present to accept the call. The delayed call dialing process system further allows the caller to delegate the task of monitoring the delayed call and then makes the delegated task visible to the caller to enable the caller to either reschedule the delayed call or cancel the delayed call after the call has been queued for delay dialing. When presence information indicates that the caller and the callee are available, the calls are put through and bridged.
