Services for trust conveyances of entities can be provided and managed. In connection with a transaction between first and second devices, a trust management component (TMC) can indicate trust levels of entities associated with the devices with regard to the transaction and/or an action attempted by an entity. With regard to an action attempted by the first entity, the trust level of the first entity can be evaluated to determine whether it is high enough to allow the action to proceed or to have the second entity respond to the action accordingly. If it is not high enough, the second entity, using the second device, can request a trust conveyance from the first entity via the TMC. The TMC can adjust the respective trust levels based on the outcome(s) of the action(s) of the respective entities with regard to executing the transaction.

Method, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for applying at least one remedial action within a communication session via at least one network in response to detecting via at least one detection model that the audio content of a first user is off-topic are described. For example, a processing system including at least one processor may establish a communication session between at least a first communication system of a first user and a plurality of communication systems of a plurality of additional users via at least one network. The processing system may then determine at least one topic for the communication session, detect, via at least one topic detection model, an audio content of the first user that is off-topic, and apply at least one remedial action within the communication session in response to the detecting that the audio content of the first user is off-topic.

The technology described herein is generally directed towards determining that a user is passively attending a meeting via a connected device, collecting data created during the meeting, and outputting information based on the collected data for the user to monitor the meeting. Join criteria can be associated with passive meeting attendee, and if the collected meeting data satisfies the join criteria, the attendee can transition to an active attendee. Keyword data can be used to represent information relevant to a meeting attendee. Based on collected and monitored meeting data presented during the meeting and the keyword data, the meeting can be determined to have reached a relevance/pertinence level by which action is taken to change the user from a passive attendee to an active attendee. This can include a transition period that allows a user to catch up on previous meeting information before becoming an active attendee.

Virtual meeting management

The disclosed technology is directed towards detection of personal threats to a user based on information known to a user's device and other information. A device with a personal threat application program and server communicate information, including data describing the user's current physical situation, e.g., including current location. The server and/or application program obtain data describing environmental conditions around the user's location, e.g., corresponding to a defined personal zone. The personal zone size automatically can vary based on current factors. Based on the situation and environmental data reaching a threshold threat level, a potential threat to the user can be predicted and the prediction, used to take some action, such as to send an alert to the user and/or otherwise output a warning signal. Historical data such as statistics related to the user's current location can be accessed to assist with the prediction.

Predictive personal threat levels via user device

The disclosed technology is directed towards monitoring media content, including without presenting the monitored media content via a media presentation device, or while presenting in parallel. In general, supplementary data describing the monitored media content is obtained, e.g., generated by a media server based on the content being monitored. The supplementary data is presented via a user interface for a user to monitor, e.g., as displayed text, documents, audio in or other ways such as a combination of text and images. The user interface can be a primary presentation device the user is using, and/or another user device. The supplementary data can describe scenes of video, and/or transcriptions of audio, for example. The supplementary data can be interacted with, such as to switch to present the monitored media content or a selected portion thereof. Multiple media content presentations can be monitored, with supplementary data available for each.

Media content monitoring

Techniques are described that facilitate predicting and minimizing risks associated with vehicle usage contexts. In one example, a method comprises obtaining, by a system comprising a processor, vehicle state information identifying occupants and objects of a vehicle and relative positions of the occupants and the objects about the vehicle in association with a current usage context of the vehicle. The method further comprises determining, by the system, an assessment of potential injuries associated with the current usage context of the vehicle based on analysis of the vehicle state information, wherein the analysis comprises evaluating potential movement of the occupants and the objects. The method further comprises determining, by the system, risk information regarding a risk associated with the current usage context of the vehicle as a function of the assessment.

Predicting and minimizing risks associated with vehicle usage contexts

Techniques are described that facilitate dynamically predicting and minimizing risks associated with performance of physical tasks. In one example embodiment, method comprises obtaining, by a system comprising a processor, current health status information regarding a current health status of an entity and task information regarding a task to be performed by the entity. The method further comprises determining, by the system, a personalized assessment of an ability of the entity to perform the task relative to an environment in which the task is to be performed based on the current health status information and the task information, and determining, by the system, risk information regarding a risk associated with performance of the task by the entity within the environment as a function of the personalized assessment.

Predicting and minimizing risks associated with performance of physical tasks

An audio generation system is provided to enable coordinated control of multiple IoT devices for audio collection and distribution of one or more audio sources according to location and user preference. The audio generation system enables a location sensitive acoustic control of sound, both as a shaped envelope for a particular source, and as an individualized experience. The audio generation system also facilitates an interactive visual system for visualization and manipulation of the audio environment including via the use of augmented reality and/or virtual reality to depict soundscapes. The audio generation system can also facilitate a system for improving and achieving an audio environment (sound influence zone) and an intuitive way to understand where sounds will be heard.

The disclosed technology is directed towards presenting an avatar in a virtual reality environment in different ways to different users, based on relationship data including a familiarity level and trust level with each other user. The familiarity level data and/or trust level data can be updated with each encounter with another user. The presentations of the same avatar can be different to the other users encountered at the same time, e.g., a lower resolution avatar presented to a less familiar and/or less trusted other user, a higher resolution avatar presented to a more familiar and/or more trusted other user. Audio volume and/or clarity may be similarly modified based on relationship data. A user having an encounter with another user may have a mirror view of the user's own avatar, and can improve or degrade the avatar's appearance (and/or aural output) during the encounter.

Contextual avatar presentation based on relationship data

The disclosed technology is directed towards presenting promotional content via an avatar representing a first, promoter user to a second, target user experiencing a virtual or other environment. The promotional content may be presented via an alteration of the avatar, audio output and/or an object virtually associated with the avatar. The promotional content may be selected based on matching target user data describing a target user experiencing a virtual reality environment. Different users viewing the same avatar at the same time can be presented with different promotional content. Information may be output to attract a target user to perceive the promotional content. The promoter user can interact to obtain a current promotion status notification, as well as to select from available promotional content offerings to promote.

Avatar-based promotions

Using scent fingerprints and sound fingerprints for location and proximity determinations can include detecting a movement of a user device relative to an environment, and determining if a fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment is available. The fingerprint can include a sound fingerprint, a scent fingerprint, and usage data defining resource usage of the user device at the environment, The fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment can be obtained with an instance of sensor data including a scent detected at the user device and a sound detected at the user device. Based on the instance of sensor data and the fingerprint associated with the user device and the environment, a location and proximity of the user device can be determined.

Using scent fingerprints and sound fingerprints for location and proximity determinations

The disclosed technology relates to detection of attention exhibited by a second user to a first user's avatar in a virtual reality environment. A first user's avatar activity and the second user's activity are evaluated to determine the second user's (e.g., via another avatar) attention level directed towards first user's avatar. Information can be sent to notify the first user that the second user's attention level has satisfied attention-level criterion data. For example, if the second user is viewing and/or is within audio range of the first user for too long of a time or too frequently, then the first user can be notified and/or other action taken. Remedial action is available for negative attention, such blocking the second user from experiencing the first user in the environment. Detection of attention for positive purposes is available, such as to reward an influencer whose avatar is receiving significant attention from followers.

Virtual reality avatar attention-based services

The disclosed technology is generally directed towards monitoring electronic communications to detect content in a communication that is attempting to influence the recipient user in some way. A user can specify influential intent preference data, such as which electronic communications services/applications to monitor for such influential intent content, and the types of the influential intent to monitor for, e.g., political influence types, advertisement influence types, and so on. A user also can specify remedial or other actions to take upon detection, e.g., block such content, alert on detecting such content and so on. An electronic influence manager server and/or application program can perform the monitoring and/or take the actions. Also described is reporting on the communications with influential intent, user actions with respect thereto. Reputation data can also be collected and used with respect to sources of communications with influential intent.

Detection and notification of electronic influence

The disclosed technology is directed towards creating a media content presentation for playback, based on user specified input criteria and playback instructions. A user specifies input criteria related to media source data. The media source data is accessed, and further based on the input criterion, matching segments (e.g., scenes and audio) are determined from metadata information that describes the segments; the media playback content is generated from the matching segments. A user may also specify criteria/instructions that describe how to play the matching segments, such as in linear order, or based on relative relevance such as scene impactfulness. A matching scene can be repeated, and/or augmented with annotation data. For any matching scene or transition between two matching scenes, specified playback speed and audio volume can be specified and applied. As part of generation, the media content presentation can be fit to a specified time constraint.
