A device for the production of structural components from a fiber composite material, the components being three-dimensionally arched over a large surface, including a jig having a convex mounting surface having receiving channels for the insertion of structural components, wherein the loaded jig interacts with a laminating bonding device having a corresponding shape for forming the structural component under pressure, wherein the mounting surface includes a plurality of individually elastically deformable mounting shell parts arranged adjacent to each other along at least one longitudinally extending pitch line and attached to a plurality of elastically deformable supporting frame elements extending on the interior of the shell at a right angle to the pitch line, and a plurality of actuators for deforming the mounting surface between an extended position (A) and at least one retracted position (B) to move the jig from the bonding device relative to the receiving channels without undercuts.

Device and method for the production of multi-arched structural components from a fiber composite

A device and to a method for the production of essentially two-dimensionally arched large-area structural components from a fiber composite material, including a jig having a convex mounting surface which has longitudinally extending receiving channels for the insertion of construction components and which can be loaded with auxiliary materials, wherein the loaded jig interacts with a laminating bonding device having a corresponding shape for forming the structural component under pressure, wherein the jig includes a mounting shell that at the edge can be elastically deformed inwards, which mounting shell, by way of a plurality of actuators that are articulated to the inside, can be moved between an extended position (A) and at least one retracted position (B) in which the jig can be moved relative to the longitudinally extending receiving channels from the laminating bonding device without undercuts.

Device and method for the production of two-dimensionally arched structural components from a fiber composite

A method of producing a composite preform having a profile with variable profile height or width is provided. The method includes: providing a plurality of first fiber layers overlapping or upon one another in or substantially parallel to a primary plane; inserting a second fiber layer via a guide member between two of the first fiber layers at an edge region of the preform profile, such that the second fiber layer extends substantially parallel to the first fiber layers; and positioning the edge region of the preform profile, and thus respective edge regions of the first fiber layers, out of the primary plane to set or determine a dimension of the preform profile in the primary plane.

Method for production of composite preform

A device and a method for manufacturing a fiber-reinforced fuselage shell for an aircraft, which fuselage shell for the purpose of reinforcement comprises several stringers that are spaced apart from each other, wherein the device includes a base frame comprising several supporting walls of different lengths for forming a curved mounting surface for the fuselage shell to be manufactured, wherein several actuators that extend radially outwards and that are longitudinally adjustable are affixed to the mounting surface, at the distal ends of which actuators in each case mold channels for receiving the stringers are attached, which mold channels are interconnected by means of flexible intermediate elements and/or further mold channels for forming a vacuum-tight closed mold surface.
