A package for pourable food products and method for moulding a polymeric opening portion to a packaging sheet material is provided. The package can include an opening portion and a weakening feature. In some embodiments, the opening portion can be made of a polymer composition. In some embodiments, the weakening feature has a thickness below 200 micrometers and is thinner than parts of the opening portion directly adjacent to said weakening feature. The polymer composition can include sodium sulphite particles. In some embodiments, the sodium sulphite particles have the following size characteristics: (i) 0% having a size above 75 micrometers, and (ii) an average size below 25 micrometers.

The forming device comprises two opposing sealing elements between which the tube is arranged to be flat-laid and squeezed to heat the thermoplastic and obtain a first transverse seal of the tube. It further comprises two volume control elements. The forming device is characterized in that it is arranged to displace the first transverse seal off-center in relation a longitudinal axis of the first portion of the tube in a displacement direction essentially perpendicular to the first transverse seal to enable later shaping of a corresponding final package with a wall arranged with a predetermined angle of inclination in relation to the displacement direction. The invention also relates to a machine, a process and a packaging laminate.

An opening arrangement includes a bottom piece disposed to be positioned on a packaging material and to define a pouring opening; a lid disposed, in a closed state, to seal the pouring opening; and a tamper evidence intended to be broken the first time the opening arrangement is opened and which is connected to a pull tab connected to the lid and to a fastening surface disposed to be connected to the packaging material. The fastening surface is disposed to extend over a fold line along which the packaging material is intended to be folded for forming a package. A closure device comprising a plastic lid which is articulated to a skirt that is designed to surround a neck of a container. A majority of the surface of the lid is made up of an external convex surface that is provided with a concave recess which is disposed more or less opposite an area in which the lid is articulated to the skirt. One section of the lid can rest against a heel which is provided close to an upper edge of the skirt so as to lock the lid in a position in which the device is completely open.
